公共英语课程教案

《公共英语》课程教案一、课程定位《公共英语》是专门针对我院三年制高职学生开设的一门公共必修基础课程,开课一学年两个学期。
根据学院的实际情况和用人单位对我院毕业生的要求,对我院《公共英语》进行了规范课程建设。
本课程主要是考核学生的实际英语知识水平和运用能力,并做出客观的评估和鉴定。
本课程在保障公共英语教学大纲的前提下,教学中充分运用各种教学手段,彰显我院各专业特色,发挥教师的主导作用,充分调动学生的积极思维逐步提高学生的英语综合运用能力。
二、课程总目标本课程由听、说、读、写和译五大模块构成。
各模块根据高职高专英语教学“原则----实用为主、应用为目的”,使学生掌握一定的基础英语和职业英语知识,为专业英语学习的顺利进行和职业能力的培养打下良好的基础,使学生能借助词典阅读和翻译相关英语业务资料,在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中进行口头和书面交流,并为以后的进一步提高英语应用能力打下基础。
对学生进行自主学习能力和技巧的培养,使他们能较好地适应未来工作岗位需要。
课程教学目标通过本课程的教学,应使学生达到下列要求:(一)词汇认识3800个英语单词(包括入学时要求掌握的1600个单词)以及由这些词构成的常用词组,并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力。
对其中2100个左右的单词(含相关职业英语词汇500个左右)能正确拼写,英汉互译。
(二)语法掌握基本的英语语法规则,在听、说、读、写、译各环节能正确运用所学语法知识。
(三)听力能听懂涉及日常交际的结构简单、发音清楚、语速较慢(每分钟110词左右)的英语简短对话和陈述、理解基本正确。
(四)口语掌握一般的课堂用语,并能在日常和涉外业务活动中进行简单的交流。
(五)阅读能阅读中等难度的一般题材和与职业相关题材的简短英文资料,理解正确。
在阅读生词不超过总词数3%的英文资料时,阅读速度不低于每分钟50词。
能读懂通用的简短实用文字材料,如:Email、Notice、Memo、Advertisement、Fax、Contract、Letter、Introduction to the Products等,理解正确。
