新托福+toefl大作文抽象话题
在新托福的大作文里面，有相当一部分的题目都是抽象的话题。
所谓抽象的话题，就是此类题目并没有一个具体的话题作为依托。
这个题目可以写教育方面，也同样的可以写成科技，环境等等其他类别的话题。
这些话题往往是考生感到非常苦恼的部分，因为考生在议论文的写作上基本都有一个老师讲解的套路，而对于抽象话题而言，这个套路往往不是很有效果。
更重要的是，很多学生在面对抽象话题时，根本没有什么思路，也不知道该说什么。
鉴于此，本文中，朗阁海外考试研究中心的专家们将就如何帮助考生对抽象话题进行准备提出一套方法，希望能够让考生们在准备此类话题时能够很好的进行应对。
1.题目范围的勾勒与定义
这恐怕是在应对抽象类别的话题时最为关键的部分了。
考生往往并不知道该写些什么样的内容。
下面我们来看一个比较典型的题目：
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
It is better to finish a project then starting another than doing several at the same time.
这个题目要体现的是做事情时，应该先完成一项，然后再做另一项，还是应该几个项目同时进行。
乍看这个题目，很多考生的第一反应就是这个还有什么可区分的？这不得看情况吗？而且还有很多考生感觉这个题目好像并没有什么讨论的价值。
其实，无论题目给人感觉多么的奇怪，不好写，考生永远要记得一个观点，那就是选择一个点，一个面。
所谓的一个点，就是考生一定要有一个明确的观点。
很多考生在进行议论文的写作时，都会选择中立。
其实，这是一个非常错误的选择。
很多考生之所以会选择中立，就是因为他们感觉任何一方都不能成立，所以只能中立。
其实，新托福文章本来就不要求考生站到一个所谓的科学，严谨的角度来讨论问题。
因为新托福的题目本身就具有很大的争议性；这些题目本身就没有所谓的对与错。
考官只希望考生有一个明确的态度而已，然后有能力将自己
的想法很好的说清楚。
第二，一个面。
对于这种抽象的话题，考生切不可也以一种抽象的方式回答。
朗阁海外考试研究中心建议的写作手法是考生将这个抽象的题目放到一个具体的方面上去探讨，这样一来就自然而然的有话可说。
就这个题目而言，考生可以选择不同的环境来讨论：比如说工作，学习，政府处理国家要务等等。
考生也可以考虑按话题来分，比如说环境，科技，政府，教育等等。
只要考生确定好这几个面，这个题目即可迎刃而解。
2.充分的例子化抽象为具体
无论是雅思，还是新托福，还是任何形式的议论文考试，老师们都会让考生多去举例来证明自己的观点。
举例论证在应对抽象话题时显得尤其的重要。
因为题目问的非常抽象，考官首先要考查的就是考生是否完全理解了题目的意思，写的内容是否扣题。
所以这里需要考生们能够很好的将抽象题目具体化到实际的例子当中，将题目中关键的信息点一一的对应到具体的例子的细节中。
这样一来就能让考生很好的体现出自己对题目的正确解读。
例如：
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Are people happier when they finish a challenging task or a simple and easy task?
在写这道题目的时候，很多考生的写法就是challenging task和easy task贯穿了整篇文章。
新托福考官更希望看到的是考生利用具体的，详细的例子来解释自己的观点。
比如说对于登山运动员来说的，challenging task指的是征服珠穆朗玛峰，而easy task指的是尝试一个业余爱好者也能爬上去的不起眼的小山；对于一个销售团队来说，challenging task指的是创造历史最好记录的销售营业额，而easy task指的是完成每个月都能完成的一个很低的营业额。
这就是具体的举例说明。
总而言之，在应对新托福考试中这些抽象的写作话题时，考生应该首先要有一个正确的心态，不要有任何的恐惧心理。
然后需要做的就是按照上面的原则，一个点，一个面，举例说明问题。
在这类题目的写作上，考官并不要求考生能够很全面的展开对一个话题的详细探讨。
只要考生能够将这个题目的范围缩小到一
至两个面，然后展开详细的讨论即可。
