死搬硬套原文的表达方式和表达结构往往会使译文变成英语味道十足的汉语，艰涩难懂，语流堵塞严重，可读性自然很差，根本无法展现汉语的语言特色和优美。
遇到难句长句，首先要把握整个句子的中心意思，然后采取依托中心词层层分解的方式翻译。
第一顺译法顺译法就是指在保证意思准确、行文通顺的前提下按照英语原句的结构顺序翻译成汉语的方法，最大程度地再现原文的风格，是长句翻译过程中首先要考虑的方法。
