用英文讲猴子捞月的故事

用英文讲猴子捞月的故事The Monkey and the Moon.In the lush and verdant jungles of a distant land, where towering trees cast long shadows and exotic creatures roamed, there lived a mischievous monkey named Koko. Koko was known for his quick wit, boundless energy, and an unyielding determination that often led him into misadventures. One fateful night, as the stars twinkled above the jungle canopy, Koko gazed up at the celestial tapestry. A brilliant full moon hung in the sky, its silvery glow casting an ethereal light upon the sleeping forest. As Koko watched, a sudden thought struck him: he wanted to reach out and touch the moon. With his usual impulsive nature, Koko leapt to his feet and began climbing the tallest tree in the jungle. Up and up he scrambled, his nimble hands and feet carrying himswiftly towards the moon. As he climbed, the moon seemed to grow larger and brighter, as if it were taunting him with its proximity.Hour after hour, Koko persisted, his determination unwavering. He ignored the pain in his limbs and the burning sensation in his lungs. Finally, after an arduous climb, he reached the top of the tree.To Koko's disappointment, the moon was still high above him, seemingly just as unreachable as it had been from the ground. Frustrated and exhausted, he sat down on a branch, his dreams of touching the moon shattered. As Koko sat sulking, he noticed something peculiar. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a faint reflection in the pool of water at the base of the tree. Curiosity got the better of him, and he leaned over to investigate. To his astonishment, there was the moon, shimmering in the water's surface. It was not the real moon, of course, but merely its reflection. However, it was just asbeautiful and alluring as the celestial body itself.Koko realized that he had been chasing an illusion. The moon, no matter how close it seemed, could never truly be reached. But the moon's reflection in the water taught him a valuable lesson: sometimes, the best way to appreciate beauty is to admire it from a distance. From that day forward, Koko no longer yearned to touch the moon. Instead, he would often sit by the pool and watch its silvery reflection dance upon the water. And as he watched, he would be filled with a sense of contentment and wonder, knowing that the beauty of the moon could be enjoyed without the need for impossible dreams. And so, the tale of Koko and the moon became a legend in the jungle, a reminder that true satisfaction comes not from grasping at unattainable desires, but from appreciating the beauty that is already within our grasp.。

Among these mischievous monkeys, there was one particularly inquisitive and ambitious monkey named Bobo.Bobo possessed an unquenchable thirst for adventure and an unyielding curiosity that often led him into peculiar situations. One fine day, as Bobo was swinging through the trees, he noticed a shimmering reflection in the distance. Drawn to its enchanting glow, he followed the trail oflight until he stumbled upon a serene lake.As Bobo approached the water's edge, he witnessed an astonishing sight. 猴子捞月故事英文版

猴子捞月故事英文版The Story of the Monkey Who Tried to Catch the MoonOnce upon a time in the mountains of China, there was a monkey who lived high up in the trees. Every night, he would look up at the bright, round moon in the sky and dream of catching it. He would jump and climb, reaching as high as he could, but no matter how hard he tried, he could never reach it.One day, the monkey had an idea. He decided to make a bridge out of tree branches and leaves, so he could cross over to the moon and bring it back down to earth. He worked tirelessly, gathering and stacking the branches, weaving the leaves into a strong and sturdy bridge. When he was finished, he climbed up to the top and began to cross over to the moon.Halfway across the bridge, the monkey looked down and saw his shadow in the water below. Thinking it was another monkey, he became angry and struck out at it. In doing so, he lost his balance and fell into the water, his bridge collapsing in on itself. The monkey was stuck in the water, unable to climb back up to the tree branches. He was sad and afraid, when suddenly an old man appeared out of nowhere. The old man asked what had happened, and the monkey explained his foolish plan to catch the moon. The old man chuckled and said, "Silly monkey, the moon is far too big and far too high for you to catch. But don't be sad. Instead of trying to catch themoon, why not enjoy the beauty of it? You can dance under the moonlight and sing with the stars. This is much more rewarding than trying to catch something that is impossible to grasp."The monkey realized the old man was right. He stopped trying to catch the moon and started to enjoy the peace and beauty of the night. He danced under the moonlight and sang with the stars, feeling grateful for each moment he had. From that day forward, the monkey lived a happy and contented life, without any more foolish plans to catch the moon. He learned to appreciate the world around him, and in turn, the world appreciated him.The moral of the story is that sometimes we can become so focused on our desires that we forget to appreciate what we already have. Instead of always striving for more, we should learn to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Like the monkey in the story, we can find happiness in the beauty around us, if we are just willing to take the time to appreciate it.。

Monkeys’ Attempt to Catch the Moon
Once upon a time, there were a group of monkeys living happily in the forest. They chased each other for fun everyday, ate the sweet wild berries and bananas and drank the fresh water from the fountain.
One day when they played on the hill, the leader of the group saw the bright full moon in the sky. “Isn’t it perfectly beautiful?” he exclaimed, with a fine gush of enthusiasm. With the thought of picking it up and owned it, he called his fellows:”Hey, hey, hey, look at that beautiful thing, let’s get it down. My fellows, come on”. Then he ran up towards the top of the hill.
Hearing this order, all the monkeys followed him to the hilltop. They stacked themselves up swiftly, and soon there was a ladder made out of monkeys leading to the sky. The youngest one climbed up to get the moon. Slowly he climbed as on thin ice, the “monkey ladder”swayed slightly to every step of his. Finally, they were disintegrated as all of them lost their balance and fell off from the hilltop. Some rolled to the meadow, some got caught by the branches of the tree, while some rolled to the fountain.
Everyone was disappointed at the failure of getting the moon down. Suddenly, two baby monkeys cried out excitedly.
“MOON, MOON! There is another one in the water!”
Everyone was cheered up again at this news. They all gathered around to see the moon--the shadow of it on the surface of the fountain.
“Let’s get it for our respectful leader!” Someone cried.
“WOO...WOO...” Others agreed.
But there was a difficulty in front of them. The surface of the fountain was impossible to reach as there was a high cliff.
Finally they came up with a good idea. They held the other’s tail one after another to make themselves a rope, then down to the fountain. That youngest monkey got the mission to be the one to get the moon with a water ladle.
The youngest monkey started to climb down to the fountain. At this time, everyone held their breath for fear that they should scared the youngest monkey. The youngest monkey moved slowly and cautiously to reach the surface.
Several minutes later, he finally got to the tip of the “rope”. Raised the water ladle, he began to take the moon out.
Everyone gazed at him nervously. As he dipped the ladle into the water, strange thing happened. The moon was broken. Then it came into the ladle. Everyone gave a sigh of relief.
Then they got to the cliff. The youngest monkey held the ladle when everyone wanted to have a full look at it. They struggled to pushing each other to get to the front. As a result of this, the water in the ladle spilled out, and the moon naturally has gone.
Everyone looked at each other angrily, and then at last they found the moon in the sky still, shining and bright.。
