Unit4 Reading 优教教学设计(一)设计意图This period is intended to develop students’reading skills. After reading some pieces of attractive news, students may be interested in the topic of this text. Ask students to discuss what qualities a good journalist should possess. Then guide students to read the passage.Warming Up is intended to get students to know about the different kinds of jobs in publishing newspapers and what they involve,Pre-reading is intended to show some good qualities a good journalist needs to have, such as higher level of education, enthusiasm and hard-working. Divide students into groups to discuss these qualities, and then ask students to predict what makes Zhou Yang first work “unforgettable”The reading is about a dialogue between a new journalist Zhou Yang and his new boss, Hu Xin. 3.教材分析本单元的中心话题是“新闻”,主要内容设计新闻工作者要具备的素质和新闻采访的基本程序。
语言机能和语言知识主要围绕“新闻”这一话题展开。
热身部分通过讨论引出“中古日报社”工作人员的类别和职责。
读前部分首先通过一个问题引导学生讨论一个优秀记者应该具备的素质。
阅读部分通过Zhou Yang,一名China Daily的新员工和他的上司Hu Xing,一名资深记者的谈话引导学生了解新闻工作者的基本素质,新闻采访的基本程序以及采访时应该注意的要点等。
在理解部分,教师设计了不同的任务帮助学生运用不同的阅读技巧。
4.学情分析教师所教学生是两个普通班,普遍英语基础较差,在阅读过程中最大的障碍就是词汇问题;其次,学生不会使用不同的阅读方法和技巧。
所以,本节阅读课的设计主要运用任务型阅读方法,多使用初级问题让学生直接找答案来熟悉词汇,另外通过不同的题型让学生使用不同的阅读技巧和方法。
