英语调查报告1一、调查目的词汇教学既是中学英语教学的重点,也是中学英语教学的难点。
农村学生的英语基础薄弱,其主要原因就是怕记单词,不会记单词,未掌握英语词汇的学习方法,从而缺乏学习英语的信心和能力。
为此,我专门设计了一个英语词汇学习的调查问卷,并对七年级一、二班20名学习成绩较好的学生进行了调查,收回有效调查问卷20份。
现将调查的数据统计、存在的问题、原因分析及教学对策等情况汇总如下。
二、调查结果调查结果表明:学习成绩较好的学生有一定的学习策略,但其中部分学生学习词汇时更多的是机械记忆,被动识记,缺少计划性和明确的目标,在一些如何有效学习词汇的观念上,他们还存在一些模糊的认识,在如何将正确的观念转化为相应的行动上还存在较大的差距,缺少具体的策略指导。
三、存在的问题及原因分析1、缺乏自信心。
学生要很好地记忆单词,信心是保证。
当学生满怀自信心和激情去做某件事时,他就会做得很好。
信心需要自己的不断努力,同时也离不开老师的鼓励。
2、对记忆单词的挑战性缺乏足够的心理准备。
学生在一开始记忆单词的效果是很好的,但随着学习任务的加重和单词量的越来越大,其记忆效果大不如前。
究其原因,学生对单词记忆的困难估计不足,缺乏心理准备,当遇到一些困难时容易丧失信心。
3、记忆方法不科学。
在学生的潜意识中,背单词就和小学背诵古诗文一样,要靠“死记硬背”,背诵古诗文固然如此,但背单词却有不同。
所以很多同学就会养成光动嘴不动手的习惯,殊不知,英语单词的记忆要调动各个器官,尤其是嘴,手,眼,脑。
唯其如此,单词才能较快记住。
4、巩固不到位。
相当一部分同学认为,单词记下了就等于单词记牢了,这是一种错误的认识,也是违背遗忘的一般规律的。

一、背景与目的
随着社会的发展,社会对英语方面人才的需求逐渐增加,在21世纪,英语发挥着越来越重要的作用。
获取英语知识的方法就显得尤为重要。
在学习英语方面,我们面临的问题较多,一方面当前高中生对英语学习方法还存在着很多不足,他们对自己学习英语的方法满意程度普遍较低。
另一方面,对学习英语方法重要性的认识较为清醒,但学习效果一直不佳。
我们研究小组针对中学生学习英语的现状,困惑,以及教师的教学方式等方面情况展开调查研究,以便让更多学生走出学习英语困境,从而进入高效学习状态。
二、调查过程
1、组长:李素珍课题成员:王康丽、惠小花
小组分工:李素珍:查找资料,全面总结。
王康丽、惠小花:发放、收交问卷,整理分析数据。
2、调查方案:(1)讨论选定课题,制定活动计划;
(2)讨论制定关于高中生学习英语方法的问卷调查;
(3)发放关于高中生学习英语方法调查问卷并根据反馈情况,总结分析当前高中生英语学习方法现状,指出问题之所在。
3、调查情况:
我们把正宁三中高一、高二、高三共三级的1500余名学生作为调查对象,发放问卷1490份,收回有效问卷1450份。
针对问卷中的15个重点问题,制成统计表,展开分析,说明,并提出有关建议。
三、调查结果分析:
表一、高中生的英语成绩评价
统计结果显示:我校高中生的英语成绩普遍较低,这与平时学习英语的方法,英语基础,学习环境等有着密切的关系,所以应该重视这个现状,掌握正确的学习方法,提高英语成绩。
表二、高中生对英语学习的兴趣
统计结果显示:高中生对英语的学习兴趣普遍不浓。
“很喜欢”的仅占2%,“喜欢”的占34%,“一般”的占47%,“不喜欢”的占17%。
兴趣是最好的老师,所以应该加强培养高中生对英语学习的兴趣,增强高中生对英语的了解,提高对英语的认识。
表三、高中生是否经常参加英语补习班
统计结果显示:我校高中生参加英语补习班的人数较少,仅占
23%。
可以看出,绝大多数高中生不喜欢上英语补习班,因此,应该加强培养高中生对学习英语的兴趣,多组织同学参加有关英语方面的活动。

统计结果显示:高中生经常购买英语学习方面的资料的人占的比例较少,为30%,由此可知,学生对英语学习重视程度不够高,自主学习意识不强,这也是导致高中生英语成绩不好的主要原因之一,因此,高中生应该加强英语学习训练,以提高英语成绩。

统计结果显示:高中生的英语听力“一般”的占多数,“好”的仅占19%,“差”的占到32%。
由此可知,听力发展状况不佳,这也是导致高中生英语成绩不好的主要原因之一。
因此,高中生应加强训练听力,以此提高英语成绩,提高与别人的交流能力。

统计结果显示:高中生在英语学习中遇到的主要困难是听力,其次是语法知识,第三是写作,第四是阅读,而这四方面恰好也是英语考试的重点,因此高中生应多听听力,多记语法知识,多记单
词,提高自己的英语写作能力。

统计结果显示:高中生学习英语的动力主要来自于“考学需要”,其次是“学校、老师、家长的表态”,可以反映出高中生学习英语具有被动的一面。
我们在这里建议高中生应该改变自己的学习动机,把它当做自己的兴趣来发展,这样既可以轻松快乐地学习到英语知识,也可以从容应对各种考试。
表八、在日常生活中,高中生是否主动说英语
统计结果显示:在日常生活中,不主动说英语的人占大多数,“大胆説不顾及什么的人”占极少数。
为了提高高中生的英语学习能力,应该鼓励高中生多在日常生活中用英语互相交流,进行一些英语游戏,从各方面综合提高英语能力。

统计结果显示:高中生每天除上课时间,其他用在英语学习上的
时间较短。
其中,1小时以下的人占大多数,2-3小时的占28%,3小时以上的占少数,为10%。
所以要想学好英语,每天应在英语学习上花较多的时间,以巩固英语知识。

统计结果显示:高中生大部分喜欢老师上课时间用中英结合方式,只有一小部分同学喜欢老师用“英语”上课。
由此看出现在高中生的英语基础知识、听力比较差。
所以应提倡主要用英语上课,可以提高高中生的听力水平、理解能力。

统计结果显示:现在的高中生对英语老师上课有40%“很满意”,只有少部分同学仍觉得需要改进。
所以我们在休闲时间要积极与老师沟通交流并提出建议,以便老师及时发现同学学习中存在的问题,做出正确的指导。
表十二、你对英语课的哪部分内容最感兴趣
统计结果显示:高中生对英语课程最感兴趣的是阅读,其次是单词。
以此可以看出现在的高中生对其他各部分知识掌握较差,特别是写作方面,所以应该加强培养学生写作方面的兴趣,以至于从各
方面提高高中生的英语学习能力。
表十三、高中生平常是怎样写英语作文的
统计结果显示:现在高中生写英语作文时,大多数请教老师同学,可以看出现在的学生并没有养成独立完成作业的习惯,还有17%的学生抄袭作业,应付学习。
因此高中生应该加强对英语的学习,养成独立自主写作文的良好习惯。
表十四、高中生认为学习英语有什么益处:
统计结果显示:大多数学生认为学习英语的益处是为了“提高英语成绩,有利于高考”,15%的人对学习英语持“无所谓”态度,我们应该从思想深处认识学习英语的益处,而不仅仅是为了应付考试而学习英语。
表十五、高中生对英语学习中的错误是如何对待的
统计结果显示:高中生对待英语学习中的错误是“积累起来经常
复习”的占43%,这样有利于巩固英语学习中所存在的问题;27%的人“忽视不理”对错误不能及时纠正,让学生认识到不及时纠正英语中所存在问题的严重性。
“创造环境,改正,有意识运用”的占到30%。
纠正错误也是一种学习方法,以便加深印象,使问题得到真正解决。
四、调查结论与建议:
为了了解高中生的英语学习情况,我们采取了以上方法对高中生的英语学习情况进行了分析。
高中生的英语学习差的主要原因有以下几方面:
首先是学习兴趣不浓,学习方法不合适。
其次是高中生学习英语不够积极主动。
第三是学习意志不够坚定,刻苦努力不足。
如何综合提高中学生的英语学习水平?我们从六个方面开展调查,依次是:兴趣、态度、途径、效果、成绩、问题,这几乎囊括了所有的学习活动。
需要指出的是学习的兴趣、态度、成绩、效果、成绩,并不是孤立存在的,而是相互联系的,比如说,学习兴趣和态度为学习指明了方向,兴趣决定了性质,而态度决定了效果,效果决定了成绩,因此,这些环节不能偏废其一。
学习是有方法、规律性的。
每一个学生都应以规律性的方法为基础,去寻求符合自己个性发展要求的学习方法,真正做到学会学习。
由此,我们针对以上问题提出了以下建议:
1.多读,多看,多听。
多练。
多说。
2.平时多看些有关英语方面的书籍。

3.闲暇时间多看一些有助于学习英语的电影。
4.认真整理笔记。
5.向音乐老师建议,多教一点英文歌。
6.做大量英语短文习题。
7.在日常生活中,应广泛用英语交流。
综上所述,我们应该尊重英语特点,端正学习态度,寻求正确的学习方法,不断提高英语水平。
