由露露提出交换生申请，如果能顺利通过，也能获得去国外读书的机会，而且时间大概一年左右，不是很长，如果实在不能适应，可以先回国再做调整。
另一方面，价钱也不是很高，一年下来十万左右就够了。
考虑再三，露露母女接受了这个建议，在准备了诸多的材料和手续之后，露露终于如愿踏上美国的国土，成为众多美国高中交换生中的一名。
