剑桥PET考试全解考试简介PET（Preliminary English Test）是剑桥通用英语五级系列英语证书考试的第二级，该系列证书考试是为初级至高级各个水平的英语学习者设计的高质量的国际英语考试，是终生有效的英语能力证明。

PET考核考生的实用英语技能，无论是对于学习还是工作，PET考试都能促进考生语言能力的发展，并为希望参加剑桥第一证书英语考试(FCE)的考生打下坚实基础。

PET考试适合与在日常生活中具有中等读写水平的考生。

目前PET考试共推出两个版本－PET及校园版KET。

两种版本都遵循同样的考试形式和试卷题目等级。

唯一的区别是校园版PET的试题内容和语言环境的设置是围绕在校学生的兴趣和生活经历。

PET考试考查考生的阅读与写作、听力和会话能力。

其中阅读与写作部分占总分数的50%，听力、口试各占25%。

阅读与写作：1小时10分钟，阅读包含形式不同、长短不一的文章，考查阅读技能，要求考生理解公共场合的通知、符号或标记；能读懂事实性短篇文章，并提取信息；能说明语言结构、作者意图及理解文章可能对读者产生的影响。

写作包含3个部分，要求考生完成句型转换、填充表格、提供信息、报告事件、描述情境、表达观点等任务。

听力：30分钟，4个部分，包含长短不一的对话和独白：要求考生能够听懂公共通告及做出的回应、理解对话、提取事实性信息、了解说话者的态度和意图。

口语：10-12分钟，4个部分：考生两人一组同时应试考生与考官一对一交谈；考生与考生根据提示资料，相互进行交谈。

考核考生在交流过程中参与、理解问题以及回应的能力。

PET证书PET试卷将寄往剑桥大学，由经验丰富的阅卷官进行评判。

考生可以通过成绩在线查询系统及时知晓成绩。

PET考试成绩分四个级别: 优秀(Passwith Merit)，合格(Pass)，接近合格(NarrowFail)，不合格(Fail)。

考试分数是三部分试卷分数的总和。

PET考试方法和技巧一．简介：PET考试分3部分：Paper 1 READING/WRITING： 1小时30分钟Paper 2 LISTENING: 30分钟（其中有8分钟誊抄答案时间）Paper 3 SPEAKING: 10-12分钟二．考试题型和内容：READING：Part 1（1-5 题）叫做“匹配题”，有5道题，每道题会有ABC三个选项供考生去选择，考生需要划出关键词，然后根据意思去匹配出一个正确的选项，其实就是同义句匹配。

这种类型题会出现各种样式的小短句，主要考察的是一些公共标识、商品标签、学校通知、私人联络等。

Part 2 （6 -10题）就是“8选5”，会有五组人，然后按照他们的需求去匹配后面的A-H 8个广告。

这种类型题目，主要话题有：买书、去博物馆、选酒店、选度假／露营场所、看电影，选衣服，选课程，选网站等，都是需要考生根据不同需求来匹配出最佳方案。

先标出需求，然后用两个需求去筛选，就会轻松得出结论。

Part 3 （11- 20题）是“阅读判断题”，会给出10个小句子，要求考生判断这10个句子是正确还是错误的。

这就需求考生能够在理解句意的基础上，去原文找到答案，来验证了。

这种类型题，都是有关真实生活，选自一些杂志、宣传册广告或是网站。

找对“定位词”和“关键词”，去逐一分析和判断就可以了。

Part 4 (21- 25题) 是阅读理解，会有5道题，其中第21题一般问作者的写作目的；22题问读者可以得到什么信息或是启示；23-24题是问具体细节问题；25题就是一道“描述主人公的性格或特征”，选出一个符合主人公特点的句子。

Part 5（26- 35题）这是PET阅读部分的最后一道题了。

就是完形填空。

这个部分其实很简单，因为选材要么是一个历史故事，要么是一个科普文章，所以，一般会考察过去时，注意先读懂一遍文章（先读每一段的首末句），掌握大意，再去精读，边读边选词。

做过这个part的考生可以发现每个空白处附近的一两行之内必然会有提示，注意观察和寻找就会找到正确答案哦！其次，这个部分还会考察一些词汇、词组辨析，如：情态动词；限定词very, much, quite, a lot, more; 代词 his, her, their, my...；介词on, in, at, with, without, of... 还有就是一些关联词，表因果的because，表转转的but,however，表并列的and，表让步、递进的though, although等。
