My mom lets me help fold and organize the onesies, pajamas, dresses, and shirts back there sometimes. Everything for babies and little kids is just so tiny and cute! She has a whole other room just for toys, books, baby equipment like strollers and carriers, and awesome costumes for kids.There are two big fitting rooms with massive mirror doors at the side of the store, and a little area with chairs out front where people can wait their turn. My mom puts out a dish of freshcomplimentary mints and chocolates there, along with some car and fashion magazines to read.Behind the scenes, there's a stock room piled high with tons of boxes and storage racks stuffed with inventory. My mom gets new shipments of clothes almost every day! She has to check everything in and get it prepped to go out on the floor. She's so organized with her binder full of lists and spreadsheets.The cash wrap counter is right near the front door and has a touchscreen computer system for ringing people up. My mom can modify prices, look up stock quantities, process returns, and email e-receipts right from there. There are novelty pens and Business Card holders on the counter too. Next to the register is the hip soundtrack my mom plays over the speakers all day - usually top 40 pop or soft rock.My favorite part of helping at the store is putting together the display looks in the big front windows.
