四年级下册英语作文第二单元人教版15句话
四年级下册英语作文第二单元人教版15句话全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Summer Vacation Adventures!Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 4th grade student. I just had the best summer vacation ever and I can't wait to tell you all about it! Are you ready? Here we go!First off, my family and I went on a really fun camping trip. We drove for hours and hours until we finally reached the most beautiful forest you've ever seen. There were tall trees everywhere and a sparkling lake right in the middle. We set up our tent and started a campfire to roast some yummy marshmallows. Mmm, they were so gooey and delicious! That night we gazed up at the starry sky before going to sleep in our cozy tent. I could hear all the critters scampering around outside.A bit spooky but also exciting! The next morning, we went on a long hike through the forest.I spotted a family of deer drinking from a stream! They were so pretty with their big eyes and brown fur. My little brother tried to sneak up on them but they heard him coming and boundedaway. He was pretty disappointed, but I thought it was funny. We also saw some cool mushrooms growing on a fallen tree trunk. I learned that some mushrooms are poisonous though, so we didn't touch them. After our tiring hike, we splashed around in the lake to cool off. The water was freezing at first but it felt so refreshing on such a hot day. We played all kinds of games like Marco Polo and had a contest to see who could hold their breath the longest underwater. My dad is the champion! We also built a little sand castle on the shore and decorated it with leaves, pinecones, and flowers we found nearby. By the end of the day we were exhausted but happy. On our last day of camping, we went fishing in the lake. My mom is an amazing fisher and she caught three huge fish! We cooked them over the campfire for dinner and they were delicious. We made s'mores again for dessert. I chocolate and marshmallow squished out everywhere and got all over my face. What a mess! But it was totally worth it. That night we saw a racoon sniffing around our campsite looking for food scraps. We tried to shoo it away because raccoons can be dangerous, but it was pretty cute from a distance. After our epic camping adventure, we drove to visit my aunt and uncle who live on a farm. They have chickens, cows, pigs, and even a friendly old horse named Butterscotch. I got to collect the chicken eggs every morning which was fun but a bit smelly. The cow said "moooo" whenever I got close which startled me at first. The pigs were my favorite though, with their cute little snouts and curly tails. I fed them slop from a bucket and they went crazy over it, snorting and squealing with excitement. Gross but hilarious! My aunt taught me how to milk the cows which was harder than it looks. You have to be really gentle but also firm at the same time. I kept jumping back because I thought the warm milk squirting out would hit me in the face. It took some practice before I got the hang of it. We made fresh ice cream from the milk we collected and it was so rich and creamy. The best I've ever tasted! My uncle took us on a ride through the fields on Butterscotch the horse. I was nervous to get up on such a big animal at first. But once we started trotting along, it was actually really peaceful and relaxing. The gentle rocking motion almost put me to sleep! We rode past the cows and chickens grazing inthe pastures. We evensaw a flock of turkeys scurry across the path in front of us.For the 4th of July, my aunt and uncle hosted a big barbecue and pool party. All their friends and neighbors came over and there were so many people! We grilled hot dogs and burgers and had a huge spread of delicious sides like coleslaw, baked beans, and potato salad. After we stuffed ourselves, we all went for a swim in their big backyard pool to cool off. The grown-ups played some music and did a bunch of funny dances which cracked me up. As it started to get dark, we had a big fireworks show! The fireworks were so bright and colorful exploding in the night sky. It was an amazing way to celebrate America's birthday. On our drive home, we stopped at the biggest waterpark I've ever seen. They had these insane water slides that looped and corkscrewed in every direction. I was a little scared to go on them at first because they were so tall and looked really fast. But I finally worked up my courage and they ended up being a total blast! My brother and I went on the lazy river too and floated along without a care in the world. We also played some wild games of beach volleyball and basketball in the wave pool. By the end of the day our skin was all pruney from being in the water for so long. But it was worth it!Well, those were the highlights of my awesome summer vacation. Between camping, fishing, exploring the farm, celebrating the 4th of July, and going to the waterpark, it was jam-packed with fun! I have so many great memories from these past few months. Summer always seems to fly by way too fast though. I'm actually kind of excited to go back to school and see all my friends again. Fourth grade, here I come! I just hope we don't have too much homework...篇2My Summer Vacation in the CountrysideYay, the summer vacation was finally here! I was so excited because my parents had promised to take me to my grandparents' village in the countryside for a few weeks. I had never been to a real countryside village before, only seeing pictures in books and movies. I imagined it would be such a fun adventure! After a long bus ride, we arrived at my grandparents' little house in the evening. It was so different from our apartment in the city! Their home was just a simple one-story building made of brown bricks with a tiled roof. There was a small vegetable garden in the backyard and a few chickens clucking around too.My grandpa showed me the outhouse instead of an indoor toilet.I was a bit scared to use it at first, but got used to it quickly. The very first morning, I woke up to the most amazing natural alarm clock - roosters crowing loudly! I had only heard those sounds on cartoons before. I went outside and the air was so fresh and clean, without any car exhaust or factory smoke. The sky was bright blue without any smog. I took a deep breath and my lungs felt brand new. After breakfast, my grandparents said I could explore the village as long as I was careful. I wandered up and down the little dirt roads, watching farmers tilling their fields with big lumbering water buffalo. An old lady invited me to pet her goats. I even saw a few people riding on donkeys instead of bicycles or scooters! Everywhere I looked, there were plants, trees, flowers, and crops growing. It felt like I had stepped into a storybook world. That afternoon, my grandpa showed me their little vegetable plot and taught me how to pull weeds, water the plants, and harvest ripe produce. We picked some juicy tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, spicy green peppers, and loads of fresh herbs. I tried a green bean straight off the vine and it was crunchier and sweeter than anything from the supermarket. Using our harvest,Grandma cooked the most delicious veggie stir-fry for dinner that night over the wood stove. I stuffed myself like a little piggy. The next few days passed in a blur of amazing new experiences for me. I fed the chickens and collected their eggs each morning. I helped my grandparents slop the pigs and watched the sow nursing her squealing piglets. We fished with hand-lines in the pond and fried up our catch for lunch. We explored the crops in the fields and I learned to tell different plants apart - there was rice, corn, peanuts, soybeans, and more.I even got to watch the farmers using a lumbering antique tractor to plow one of the plots. One hot afternoon, all the village kids met at the pond to splash around and swim since there was no pool. I was nervous at first since I had only gone swimming at indoor city pools before. But the other kids showed me how to doggie paddle and float, and soon I was having a blast in the cool refreshing water with my new friends. Afterwards, we sat on the bank snacking on fresh watermelon slices that a kind farmer gave us. That was paradise! In the evenings after dinner, all the families would come out and sit in front of their homes. The kids ran around catching fireflies and playing games while the adults chatted. Sometimesa few people would bring out musical instruments like lutes or violins and everyone would sing old folk songs together. One night, there was even a traveling puppet theatre troupe that put on an amazing show in the village square with beautiful handcrafted puppets! I had never seen anything like that before. After three wonderful weeks, it was finally time to return home to the city. I was sad to leave the village, my new friends, and all the fun activities. But I carried so many amazing memories with me that I could barely fit into the bus! Between my grandparents' home-cooked meals, collecting eggs and gardening, fishing, swimming in the pond, running through fields, and all the friendly people, it was the best summer of my life so far.The ride back into the city was an absolute shock to my senses after the peaceful village atmosphere. The traffic noises, crowds of people, tall buildings, and smell of exhaust fumes felt overwhelming. From that point on, I had a new appreciation for the simple life in nature. I couldn't wait until next summer when I could return to the village and all its wonders again! Maybe I would even get to ride a water buffalo.篇3My Family's Summertime AdventuresSummer vacation is the best time of year! School is out and the sunny days are long and warm. This summer, my family went on some really fun adventures together.First, we went camping up in the mountains for a week. Camping is so exciting - we slept in a big tent, cooked hot dogs and s'mores over the campfire, and hiked along trails through the woods. One morning, we even saw a family of deer right near our campsite! My little brother tried to chase them but they ran away too fast. We all had a good laugh about that.Another cool place we visited was the beach. I love the beach so much! Playing in the salty ocean waves, building sandcastles, and looking for pretty seashells. This time, I found several beautiful spotted shells. My favorite was the one shaped like a conch that I can hold up to my ear and hear the ocean's roaring sound. We also went swimming in the hotel pool almost every day.One rainy afternoon, we went to an indoor waterpark instead of the regular pool. It had huge waterslides, a lazy river you could float along, and a wave pool that made artificial ocean waves! My parents watched from the hot tub while me and mybrother went wild on the slides. We got a little sunburned but it was worth it for all the fun.Speaking of hot tubs, we also visited some natural hot springs on our trip. The water bubbles up warmfrom deep underground and has a funny egg smell from the sulfur in it. But it felt amazing to soak in the steamy pools after a long day of hiking. My skin was all pruney when I got out!For the 4th of July, we had a classic American cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, and red white and blue popsicles. At night, we watched the most spectacular fireworks show over the lake. The colorful explosions reflected perfectly on the glassy water. It looked like the fireworks were being duplicated upside down! So beautiful. On another adventure day, Mom and Dad took us to a cave tour. We had to crouch down and shimmy through some tight spaces, but it was cool to see all the strange rock formations. Our tour guide told us how caves are formed by groundwater slowly dissolving away the limestone over millions of years. There were even tiny pools of water inside with blind albino fish swimming in them! One day, we visited a living history museum where people dress up like pioneers from the 1800s. We saw a workingblacksmith shop and got to watch a man make a metal horse shoe. There was also a one-room schoolhouse just like from the Little House on the Prairie books. My brother and I practiced writing on small chalkboards with chalk. So much more fun than using pencils and notebooks! My favorite stop was probably the petting zoo on a family farm. We got to interact with and feed all sorts of friendly farm animals - cows, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, and more. I loved brushing the soft coats of the baby calves. A newborn sheep even fell asleep right in my lap! Animals are the best.On the long drive home, we stopped at one of those kooky roadside attractions - a giant statue of a lumberjack holding a massive chainsaw! We all bundled out of the car to take goofy family pictures making scared faces and pretending to run from the huge lumberjack. Can't wait to show my friends those silly pics.Overall, my family's summer was just jam-packed with great memories. From camping to beach days to waterparks to fireworks to cave tours to farm animals, we did it all! I'm so glad we got to go on all these adventures together and make each other laugh every single day. This was definitely one unforgettable summer!篇4My Summer VacationYay, summer vacation was here! No more waking up super early and going to school. I was so excited for all the fun things I could do.The first week, my parents took me and my little brother to the beach. We stayed at a hotel right by the ocean. In the mornings, we would go shell hunting on the beach and look for cool shells and rocks. My brother found a really neat sand dollar! In the afternoons, we swam in the ocean and played in the waves. The water was warm and sunny. One day, we even went on a boat tour and saw some dolphins! After the beach, we went camping in the mountains for a few days. We hiked on trails through the forest and saw lots of birds, squirrels, and other wild animals. At night, we made s'mores around the campfire and slept in our tent under the stars. I loved falling asleep listening to the crickets and tree frogs. Camping was tons of fun but I was pretty tired after all that hiking! When we got back home, I had a week with no special plans.I just played with neighborhood friends a lot. We rode our bikes, played games in the park, and had lemonade stands. A few times,we went to the community pool too. That was probably my favorite thing - swimming and splashing around with my friends for hours. Then my aunt, uncle, and cousins came to visit us for a week. My cousins are a little older than me, so they seemed super cool. We went to an amusement park one day and rode all the biggest roller coasters. I was a little scared at first but it ended up being really thrilling and fun! Another day, we went to a water park and went on all the crazy water slides. We also just hung out at our house making tiktoks and playing video games together. After my cousins left, we had one more week of vacation left. For part of that week, I went to day camp at the nature center in our city. We went on hikes, learned about different plants and animals, made nature crafts, and played games outdoors. I have always loved the outdoors, so I thought day camp was awesome.I made some new friends there too.The last few days before school started, we just relaxed at home. I read lots of books from my summer reading list and played in the backyard. We also had family movie nights and made popcorn. Even though I was sad summer was ending, I felt refreshed and ready to start 4th grade!Summer vacation was the best! I got to do so many fun activities and make tons of great memories. I can't wait until next summer when I'll be in 5th grade and can do even more exciting things. But for now, it's time to go back to school and work hard again. Thanks for a fantastic summer, mom and dad!篇5My Family and FriendsHi there! My name is Andy and I'm going to tell you all about my family and friends. I have a pretty big family with lots of people in it. Let me introduce them to you!First up is my mom and dad. My mom's name is Sarah and she works as a teacher at my school. She's really nice and helps me with my homework when I need it. My dad is called Jack and he drives a big truck for work. He takes me camping sometimes which is lots of fun!I also have a little sister named Emma. She's only 6 years old so she can be pretty annoying sometimes. But she's still my little sis and I love her! We like to play games and do arts and crafts together. My grandparents live nearby too. Grandma Rose loves baking cookies and lets me help her. Grandpa David used to be a firefighter before he retired. He tells me cool stories about saving people from fires. I have two aunts, two uncles, and four cousins as well!At school, I have a best friend named Michael. We've known each other since kindergarten. Michael is really good at soccer and I'm good at basketball, so we like playing sports together at recess. My other close friends are Julia and Ethan. Julia is the smartest kid in our class and Ethan is really funny - he's always cracking jokes! On weekends, my friends and I go to the park near my house. We ride our bikes on the trails, play on the swings and slides, and have picnics. Sometimes Michael's dad takes us swimming at the community pool too which is awesome in the summer.I'm lucky to have such a caring family who loves me very much. My friends are great too and we have a blast hanging out together. Even though they can drive me crazy sometimes, I don't know what I'd do without my family and friends! They mean everything to me.篇6My Favorite AnimalsHi everyone! I'm going to tell you about my favorite animals.I really really love animals and I hope you like them too after reading this!First of all, my number one favorite animal is the panda. Pandas are so cute and cuddly! They have black and white fur that makes them look like they are wearing a suit. I think that's super cool. Pandas mainly eat bamboo, which is a type of plant. Did you know that pandas can spend up to 14 hours per day eating bamboo? That's like eating all day long! Pandas live in the mountain forests of central China. I feel bad that their homes are slowly disappearing because of people cutting down trees. We need to protect pandas so they don't become extinct. My second favorite animal is the dolphin. Dolphins are really smart and can do lots of amazing tricks. They live in the ocean and are shaped kind of like a torpedo, which helps them swim super fast! Dolphins use a thing called echolocation to find food and objects around them underwater. Basically, they make sounds and listen for the echoes bouncing back. Isn't that incredible? Dolphins are also very friendly towards humans. Some people even swim and play with dolphins. I would love to do that someday!Another animal I absolutely adore is the giraffe. Giraffes are the tallest animals in the world! An adult male giraffe can be up to 18 feet tall, which is taller than a single-story house. Despite being so tall, giraffes are gentle giants and only eat plants and leaves. Their favorite food is the acacia tree. Giraffes use their super long necks and tongues to reach the tastiest leaves high up in the trees. I think it's amazing how their legs, necks, and tongues are specially designed to help them eat leaves from tall trees. Giraffes also have gorgeous spotted patterns on their fur coats which help camouflage them in the wild.Lastly, I have to mention the majestic elephant. Elephants are the largest land animals alive today. An adult male elephant can weigh about 6 tons! Despite their massive size, elephants are actually gentle, intelligent creatures. They are extremely family oriented and have excellent memories. Baby elephants depend on their mothers for many years while they learn how to survive in the wild. Elephants also have really strong family bonds and often stay together for life. They use their long trunks for drinking, eating, bathing, greeting each other, and picking up objects. I'm amazed at how useful their trunks are! Those are just some of my many favorite animals. As you can see, the animal kingdom is filled with fascinating and incrediblecreatures. I feel very lucky to share the planet with such wonderful animals. I hope humans can continue to protect their homes and environments so future generations can enjoy them too. Animals are truly a gift and we must cherish them always!。
