一、首先,跟大家汇报一下班级学生现状1. 班级学生现状我们班总共名学生，上周我校进行了半期考试。
我把半期英语考试的情况简单向各位家长作个汇报。
平均分分，优生人，优生率 %。
排名前十名的有 ;与九月份第一次月考相比，进步较大的学生有。
通过初中半期的学习，大多数学生都具有良好的英语学习习惯。
学习积极性较高，能够自觉完成老师布臵的作业，深知英语学科在整个初中课程的重要性。
2.存在问题:1)早读课容易瞌睡，每天晚上加夜班的同学比较多，导致早上精神状态不好。
2)部分学生的学习方式仍然停留在小学阶段，从不自觉主动地去学习(从他们对作业的认识和处理方式上就可以看出来)3)部分学生抄袭作业，少数学生作业拖拉甚至不交作业。
3、分析期中考试成绩。
4、正确看待、冷静分析这次考试成绩。
二、其次，想跟大家交流四个问题1.首先和大家交流一个问题：孩子上了初中以后，总有一部分家长很纳闷：我家的孩子在小学能考到八九十分，为什么到了初中，成绩不令人满意，甚至有些失望呢?这个问题的答案首先与各个学习阶段的特点有关：小学阶段以赏识教育为主，要在很小的时候培养学生的自信心，试卷内容大多与课本有关，因此考试分数自然会很高。
初中则是以普及教育为主，考试会照顾到大部分学生，因此分数也较高。
但是，初中教育，特别是在以高考为最终目标的大背景下，就是以选拔为目的了，所以，考试难度与深度会有很大的提升，得分率自然就会下降，孩子们的考试分数自然会低一些。
所以拿初中甚至小学的分数来衡量孩子们初中的学习，是不科学的。
其次，与学生自身的学习方式和学习习惯有关：初中阶段学习科目多而且难，要求学生必须学会自主学习(自觉主动地去学习)，即变“要我学”为“我要学”，再也不能像初中甚至小学那样靠老师和家长盯着学，那样成绩自然会下降。

其实，大部分的学生还是处于中间层次，老师所教的，所布置的作业能够基本完成，但学习的效率又因人而异，存在着个体差别。
尽管他们平时不需要老师操太多的心，费太大的力，但是说起各方面的表现，又总有一丝遗憾，我们总希望他们能够再上一个台阶。
三、抓住方法，向好学习习惯要效果
教师是最直接的知识传授者，有着“教书育人”的责任。
当然，只有通过和家长共同的努立来帮助孩子学好英语，才能让孩子更好的发挥出他们的智慧，我们要和孩子共同成长。
（1）多听录音。
加强听力训练和说话训练，然后才是读写能力的培养。
听说能力差，用英语进行交际的能力差，为此，家长一定要配合来要求孩子，有条件的可以给孩子买个收音机，没有条件的也要创造条件让孩子多听，比如：每晚10点半听听中央12台的CCTV NEWS.多听纯正的录音，听几遍、听清楚了以后，跟着说。
不能听清楚的新闻也可以多听听，培养一种语境，让孩子养成一种习惯。
就考试而言也一年比一年注重听力、阅读等需要综合能力的部分。
（2）多说英语。
要每天抽出至少15分钟左右时间让孩子读读英语，不管当天有无英语课。
我们要鼓励孩子大声地朗读、对话、问答，大声说，不害羞，这样有利于清楚地表达自己的口语，也有利于加深印象、巩固记忆。
（3）多背英语。
熟练背诵课文和单词背诵是一项基本功，可以积累一些日常用语，到用的时等候就可以脱口而出。
但是在背诵过程中要讲究方法，不可操之过急，要注意分散和集中相结合。
我们一般是分段教课文，那就可以请学生分段背课文。
等快教完的时候，再把课文串起来背，这样可以降低一点难度，让学生背得轻松些。
但是在检查过程中，我们发现有一部分学生背得相当熟练，可问他课文中的某个词组或句子的意思时，他却一问三不知。
所以，我们在背诵过程中要注意上下文的理解，在理解的基础上达到背诵的要求，课文中涉及到的相关词组和句型，要让学生熟记，并能用它们来造句、说话。
在具体的实施过程中发现：有些学生根本不用心学，能偷懒则偷懒，很多家长比较负责会查问有没有教新课，要不要默写，但孩子不老实，欺骗家长。
这时候，你应该及时跟我联系，让孩子知道：欺骗不是办法，也会受到相应的惩罚。
单词亦是如此，分散记忆、根据读音记忆单词都是可取的方法。
有时，我们回家布置抄写单词，其目的不在于抄，而在于提醒学生记忆这些单词。
但是在日常学习中，学生不重视这项作业，认为只是抄抄而已，不做也没什么关系，其实他连抄写都不做，根本别说是去背了，结果几次下来，他负债累累，应付不过来，学习处于被动状态，从而影响了以后的学习，出现退步现象。
因此，请大家在家里督促孩子保质保量地完成英语作业，该读的读、该说的说、该写的写、该记的记，及时巩固，养成良好的习惯。
父母亲的良好榜样起着很大作用。
孩子一般还没有明确的学习目的，这时，父母亲对学习的态度，特别是行为，会极大地影响孩子。
在默写单词、词组、课文的时候，有些会诱导父母：老师要求在家默写英语，那家长就比较为难，一方面，自己根本不会读英语；另一方面，也只能帮助他作弊了。
其实，我们对默写的要求是这样的：单词、词组是要求家长报中文，课文是要求学生自己熟背然后默写的。
每周周末回家，整理这周的笔记。
在整理的过程中，回顾这周所学的知识，可以起到巩固强化的效果。
有些同学做得比较好，每周一的笔记都按时交上来，并整理得井然有序。
有些同学就比较马虎，胡乱写几个，应付了事，或者直接不带书和笔记回家，等着周末晚上来抄同学的。
这些学习行为都是不可取的。
一旦养成习惯，就容易让孩子养成不劳而获的习惯。
四，密切关注学生的行为，让孩子顺利度过叛逆期。
初二是孩子大多在14岁左右，这是人生的第二个重要的转型期。
在这个阶段的孩子，身体生长迅速。
思想开始独立，有了自己的想法，开始和父母，和老师作对，开始坚持自己的观点。
有些细心的家长会发现孩子的改变，会密切关注孩子的成长，会允许但不放纵孩子的想法。
有些家长，面对孩子的改变，变得无法应对，开始在孩子面前不停的抱怨。
其实，抱怨和武力都是最不可取的。
这个时期的孩子，需要家长的关怀，又怕家长个过分关注。
所以，您们要做的是给孩子空间。
在不违背原则的情况下，给孩子空间。
让他自由安排。
