教学过程Step 1 Warming up1.师生互致问候。
2.师生一起唱歌曲:What’s Your Name?Step 2 Review1.师生自由对话，如：What’s your name? May I use your English book? How is the weather today? What’s your phone number?2.教师拿出电话机说：“Look! This is a phone. Let’s learn how to make phone calls.”3.教师揭示课题并板书：Unit 7 Making Phone Calls Part A。
Step 3 Presentation（一）从课文对话入手，学习用英语打电话的基本用语。
1.导入课文。
（1）教师说：“Wang Tao and Lily are classmates.Now they are making a phone call.What do they say?Please listen.”（2）教师播放课文录音或教学光盘，学生认真听录音。
2.学习用英语打电话的基本用语。
（1）教师用PPT 呈现王涛说的话：“Hello.This is Wang Tao.May I speak to Lily?”（2）教师告诉全班学生：“如果你用英语打电话给别人，接通电话时，你就要先报上自己的姓名，所以王涛说，‘Hello.This is Wang Tao.’”（3）教师出示句子：May I speak to Lily?Speaking. 先教学单词speak 和speaking,强调字母组合ea 的发音/i/,请学生尝试读出speak 和speaking。
