本节课教师在教学过程中要设计各种教学活动，将学生完成任务时需要的语言，用不同的形式一一输入给学生。
另外，还要积极采用新颖、丰富多彩的教学手段来激发学生的学习兴趣，用兴趣来激活他们的思维能力，进而愿意积极主动地参与课堂学习，真正成为一堂课的主人。

阅读一篇文章不是单纯为解决某个语言或是回答几个问题而进行的，最终目的是为利用所获取的信息知识进行交流，这种交流不是被动地掌握语言形式或语言结构，而是有交际愿望和交际目的的。
本课时选择的是八年级下Unit 7 Have you ever been to a museum?( Section b 2a-2e)，主要围绕本单元中心话题“Fun Places”而展开的。
因此，为了训练学生能够在语篇中准确获取信息知识，并用所获取的信息实现语言的交流和交际，本节课的设计思路为：在多媒体手段的辅助下，采用情景教学和小组合作学习方式，让学生在近乎真实的语言环境中“走进”新加坡，从中获取有用信息和知识，并引导学生关注语言形式在语境中的运用。

因而我采用网上所采集的新加坡及世界各地的风景名胜以激发学生的兴趣，通过提问，启发，观察并归纳的教法让学生主动想拨开新加坡神秘的面纱。
这样既会学有所得也会轻松而不枯燥。
三、学生情况分析：初中生的学习心理特点：（1）兴趣：对英语普遍感兴趣，但有很大的不稳定性，好奇心强，求知欲旺盛，已不满足教师对课文的简单重复。
（2）记忆：对刺激记忆手段多的知识记忆深刻，遵从记忆规律。
（3）思维：偏重于形象思维，对片面,零碎的材料尚缺乏一定的概括分析能力。
（4）评价：主要通过他人评价初步形成对自己的评价，所以很在乎他人的评价；自我认识较模糊、片面，但自我意识却不断增强。
