清源山中英文介绍清源山地处福建省东南部，晋江下游东北岸，位于东经118°30'～118°37'，北纬24°54'～25°0'之间，与泉州市区三面接壤。

距厦门市106公里，福州市196公里。

因为山上泉眼诸多别称“泉山”，因山高入云称“齐云山”。

位于城市北郊又称“北山”，山上有三峰亦称“三台山”。

清源山是泉州十八景之一，也是国家级重点风景名胜区，由清源山、九日山、灵山圣墓三大片区组成，总面积六十二平方公里。

清源山景区方圆有四十华里，主峰海拔498米，与泉州市山城相依，吸引了众多的海外游客。

自古以来，清源山就以36洞天，18胜景闻名于世，其中尤以老君岩、千手岩、弥陀岩、碧霄岩、瑞象岩、虎乳泉、南台岩、清源洞、赐恩岩等为胜。

地质结构是通过多次构造运动和岩体侵人所形成的，岩体外部呈黑褐色，岩层节理不发达，成土因质以坡积物居多，土壤为温润型。

气候特点清源山冬暖夏凉，气候温暖湿润，一年四季均适宜观光旅游。

年平均气温17～21.3℃，年平均降水量1202～1550毫米，全年无霜期358天。

资源情况植物资源清源山全区内共有野生维管束植物145科487属750种，陆生脊椎动物有25目65科179种，昆虫种类有21目155科592种，具有较高的物种多样性。

而且，景区内的森林群落中有5种植被类型及淡水草本沼泽湿地，是沿海地区目前较难得的南亚热带生态景观。

野生植物资源中，有国家二级重点保护的香樟、花榈木、水蕨，省级重点保护的油彬多处，并呈小片分布；列入 《濒危野生动植物种国际贸易公约》附录保护的植物有兰科的小舌唇兰、见血清、绶草，大戟科的飞扬草、千根草等。

动物资源野生动物中有国家一级重点保护的蟒蛇，国家二级重点保护的虎纹蛙、黑鸢、赤腹鹰等23种，省重点保护野生动物有黑斑蛙、豹猫、眼镜王蛇等19种，列入 《濒危野生动植物种国际贸易公约》的30种，涉及双边国际性协定保护候鸟34种。

昆虫有国家保护的中国宽尾凤蝶、大乌桕蚕蛾等。

2022年，发现鸲姬鹟。

主要景点老君岩山门老君岩的山门，曲尺型的上下两级平台，是阴阳太极八卦的变型图案，正前耸立的这方天然石头上镌刻着“青牛西去，紫气东来”八个篆字，还有这幢以盘根错节为窗饰挂落的石构山门，充满了山野气息，把老子“崇尚自然”的思想烘托得淋漓尽致，令人有进入物外仙境的快意之感。

沿着这条幽静的林荫石径往前，植物界巨人——榕树分立两侧。

那一丛丛既密又长的树根，有如老子的长髯，昭示出老子的思想“天长地久，无限生机”。

老君造像老君造像被列为全国重点保护文物，是中国道教石刻中独一无二的艺术瑰宝。

据清代乾隆年间编纂的《泉州府志》记载：“石像天成，好事者略施雕琢。

”说明它是一块形状肖似老翁的天然巨岩，是巧夺天工的民间工匠略施技艺，把它雕刻成春秋时期著名哲学家、思想家、道教开山鼻祖老子的坐像。

汉代著名史学家司马迁在《史记.老子韩非列传》中记述“老子姓李氏，名耳，字伯阳，谥日聃。

”故籍为楚地苦县历乡“曲仁里人”。

老君造像原先有一座高大的道观围护，规模宏伟的真君殿、北斗殿等道教建筑颇为壮观，后来道观被焚毁，老君岩便露天屹立，与大自然浑为一体，它的健在，足以证实誉称“世界宗教博物馆”的泉州古城，在宋代的道教文化是十分发达兴盛的。

石像高5.63米，厚6.85米，宽8.01米席地面积55平方米。

由于它是中国现存最大，雕技最绝年代最久的道教石雕造像，因此文史界人士戏称之为“老子天下第一”倒也名符其实。
