动词be说明身份、年龄、状态等如果有人问你的年龄、身份或者现在的身体状况,你会怎么说呢?你可以说:▪—————————————————我 12 岁了。

这几句谈论的都是现在的状态,可以用be 的一般现在时。
注意系动词be如果要询问对方或他人现在的状态,就要使用疑问句。

其中,this 和that 为单数指示代词,these 和those 为复数指示代词。

通常,我们谈论离自己近的人或物时用 this / these,离自己远的人或物时用that / those 。

下面我们来看一下这些指示代词作主语构成一般疑问句时,答句所使用的主语会有什么变化。

由此可以看出,当指示代词所指的事物已确定时,后面的指示代词指人时用he、she 和they 来代替,指物时用it 和they 来代替。

如果要表达“……地方有……”该用什么句型呢?一般应采用there be 句型。

从以上句子可以看出,there be 句型的结构一般为“ there is/are + 某物∕人+ 地点”,表示某地方有某物,也可以表示某地方有某人。
如果要表达某地没有某物或某人,或者询问什么地方是否有某物或某人时,就要用到there be 句型的否定和疑问形式。
在there be 句型中,从句法结构上讲there 为主语,所以其疑问形式是将be 提至there 之前,构成is可以看出,there be 句型的变化形式与第一模块中be 的变化形式相似,只是要注意系动词be 的形式变化一般视其后面名词的单复数而定。
注意:there is/are 用于表示现在某个地方有某物或某人时,所表示的物或人都是泛指,而非特指。

如果表达“他,她”有,则要用—————,而“我们,你(们),他们”等与“我”一样,用————————。

如果要表达“没有”,则要用have not (haven't) got, has not (hasn't) got,要问“有没有”则要把have/has 提至句首,变成疑问句。

have got 和there be 有时表达的意思有些相近,但句型和侧重点还是不同。

两句都表示冰箱里没有肉,但是第一句强调“我们没有肉了”,冰箱是次要的;而第二句则强调“冰箱里没有肉了”,至于其他地方有没有,就无从知晓了。
因此,使用时要注意表达的侧重点。
some, any的用法在there be 和have got 句型的肯定、否定和疑问形式中,我们注意到有时用some 有时用any 。
那么some 和any 是如何区别使用的呢?首先来看以下几个例子:▪—————————————————杯子里有一些牛奶。

注意:some 用在可数名词之前时,可数名词要用复数形式。
同时,还应注意一些不规则变化,如:man—,woman—,foot—,tooth—,child—等。
