one of the bystanders.

对我们学校工作的支持。事实上孩子们的学习确实离不开广大家长的支持。相信各位家长对我并不陌生,我也是见证了这班
孩子的成长过程.我相信我和这个班的孩子是有缘分,有默契的.首先做一下自我介绍：我是咱们五年级孩子的英语老师，我姓李。
首先介绍一下教材，我们五年级英语是跟三、四年级英
语教材相衔接的，也是和我们的初中英语相配套的。按照《英语新课程》标准，五年级英语是国家二级的起始阶段，也是英语学习的重要阶段。如果我们有心的家长仔细看的话，会发现我们英语书的词汇量与语法都较四年级有很大的提高，而且还出现了语篇教学，这也对我们五年级学生提出了更高的要求。如果你以前的英语没有学好，那相对来说，你现在学得比较累；同样地，如果你现在不学好英语，那将来的英语学习也是不难想象的。
其次我想讲一下班级学习情况。其实在座的家长对自己
子女的情况比我更加清楚。他们都是在同一起跑线上起跑的，但经过几年来的学习，学生与学生之间已经拉开了差距。一些好的学生学习兴趣浓，学习劲头足，课堂上积极思维，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性循环的好势头。他们的学习习惯好，在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进，我为他们感到欣
慰。可也有一些学生，平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，导致他们现在课上听讲出现困难，关键还不努力，书面作业拖拉不交，口头作业根本不完成，如此一来，学习自然成了件头痛事。其实，我们班大部分的学生还是处于中上等层次，尽管他们平时不需要老师操太多的心，费太大的力，但是说起各方面的表现，又总有一丝遗憾，因为我们总希望他们能够再上一个台阶。
再次我想讲一下这次的期中考试的情况。五年级三个班
的情况都差不多。我们学生主要的失分在两个方面，一是听力部分，这是需要我们今后多做多练的，另外一个方面是阅读理解，学生做得也不好，因为有些题目不是可以直接从文中找出的，需要他们去分析理解，他们这一方面的能力还有待加强，他们的基础知识在此次练习中表现尚可。
有位教育家曾说过：只有学校教育而没有家庭教育，或
者只有家庭教育而没有学校教育，都不能完成培养人这一及其艰巨而复杂的任务。所以在英语学习上，我们的家长也起到了很重要的作用，下面我给在座的家长提一些辅导孩子学习英语的建议：
（1）让孩子多听录音按照眼前利益来看，我们的升
学考试也一年比一年注重听力、阅读等需要综合能力的部分。像我们五年级的英语，每次考试均要占40分。我每天都会布
置听录音的作业，希望各位家长能及时检查您孩子的听力情况并签字。
（2）每天检查孩子的回家作业是否完成，保证第二天能
按时上交。检查时不要只问一下有没有做，也请你亲自看一看，家长还可以看看单词有没有抄错，题目有没有做错之类的。
（3）有时我会布置学生回去背诵英语单词，并自己默写。这时家长可以在家帮助学生默写，你可以报中文，让他默英文。并签上你的名字（注明默写），因为有的学生让他默一遍其实也就是抄一遍交差，一点效果也没有。
（4）督促孩子预习、复习。这是一项很必要也很重要的
任务。所以，家长的首要任务是及时督促孩子复习当天学习的内容，提前预习下一堂课的学习任务。主要形式就是跟录音机大声读英语单词、句子、对话、短文等。英语和母语不同，没有学习的氛围和环境，必须“曲不离口”地反复诵读，才会记得牢。
总而言之，家长的重视会让学生增加信心，提高学生的
学习积极性。与其在期末时看到大家都不愿看到的不理想的分数，还不如在平时就多关心孩子学习的过程。还希望家校携手
共同提高孩子们的英语学习水平。我要讲的就是这些，谢谢大家。
