Step 1 Warm up （热身）

B、Free talk:
Last weekend ,I went hiking and took many pictures.I’m so happy.I want to know what did you do last weekend ?(出示已经学过的过去式短语卡片)
Step 2Presentation （新课呈现）
Let’s read：
（1）教师出示一封信封。
（2）教师提问：What’s this? 引导学生说：This is a letter. 板书:letter.
（3）教师提问,请学生猜测这是谁给谁的信？
T:Who wrote this letter ?
学生预测：John wrote to his mother.
（4）提问:John在信里会对妈妈说什么？
T: What did he say in his letter？
（5）请学生阅读信，根据信的内容完成下面的表格：Read this letter and fill in the blanks.
（6）学生四人小组讨论答案。
T:Talk about your answers in your group.
（7）请学生到黑板上写出答案。
T:Would you please write your answer on the blackboard? （8）教师带读，请学生跟读,再订正学生书写的答案。
（9）教师播放录音，并分析信中出现的重难点。
（10）学生独立完成课后练习。

（11）请学生订正答案。

（12）学生再次阅读短文，找出文中出现的过去式，并勾画出来。
教师指导以下几句话：Every day I had fun with my cousins. On Monday we went to a restaurant. Tomorrow I’ll be back home.
过去式：went ，ate ，sang，danced，played，climbed，took，had。
