但我认为，这不是不可能，关键在于老师的正确指导与兴趣的培养。
一、拓宽阅读，扩大学生的词汇量孩子们不愿意读，不愿意写，原因在于积累不够，“墨水”不多，信心不足。
因此针对这一方面，我们必须有意识地去扩大学生的阅读量，只有达到一定的阅读量，学生才会产生一定的语感，读写起来才能得心应手。
其实在三、四年级，平时的练习已经开始出现阅读题，学生可以好好利用这种题目进行好词好句的积累，同时我们还可以帮他们补充一下“营养”，例如平时让他们看看《新知堂剑桥少儿英语网站》上面的一些英语小故事，读读《英语周报》里面的小文章，同时让他们拿起笔记本把平时看到的好词好句一一收录下来，并不定期成果，但写作过程总是重于成果，训练学生以一个主题概念多角度多层次地反复重视，使学生有机会把过去的知识和经验与今天的学习任务结合起来，使新旧知识在头脑里形成网状记忆、网状联想，使英语学习的质量发生飞跃，例如，在教学生写yesterday的作文时，我将today ,tomorrow，the plan of summer holiday等相关的、相类似的题材一起引导学生分析。

加强英语阅读,提高写作效率
叶圣陶先生说：“阅读是吸收，写作是倾吐。
”从一定意义上讲，阅读和写作是统一体的两个方面，是在同一载体上进行的丰富积累和积累运用，形成语感和表达交流，学生多种方法和方法运用的双向互动。
阅读教学的重点是培养学生具有感受、理解、欣赏和评价的能力；而写作教学应注重培养学生具有观察、思考、表现和评价的能力。

以下列举几点笔者在英语教学实践中的创新措施，供同仁们参考。
一．建立“四簿”
“四簿”为：笔记整理簿、美句集锦簿、阅读训练簿、习作训练簿。
笔记整理簿，用与课前预习，整理难以理解的单词，句子等，以备上课时有的放矢地听老师讲解。
课堂上，除了记录课前难以理解的知识点外，还要记录老师补充的知识，以备课后及时复习。
美句集锦簿，分门别类、随时积累，如：谚语，美文摘抄，经典句积累。
阅读训练簿，每天阅读训练一次，共两页，及词语（同义词、反义词、固定词组、词义辨析等等），句子（惯用法
主题句或中心句、谚语等等）。
习作训练簿，每周两篇，一篇围绕本单元内容进行写作，另一篇随心写作，要求命题多样，不同级别，字数不一，并伴有修改稿，老师及时批改、点评。
二．边读边写
平时我们所见到的练习、考试、甚至是中考，以教材为准绳的，这也就是大纲所说的以本为本。
因此，使用好教材，教材中的任何一个可读可写的素材是很必要的。
现以苏教版义务教育课程标准实验教科书《牛津初中英语》为例，如：学案8b（下）第一单元课文《times have changed》可仿写《the changes in my hometown》的习作。
又如：9a（上）第四单元课文《talk about tv programmes》后可练写《my favourite tv》习作等。
与课文、日记、作文，学范文仿写，一题可多作，可写节日、活动等。
真可谓名目多，精彩连连。
像这样读写结合，训练有方，既相得益彰，又笔端生花，何乐而不为呢？
三．搜集素材
书到用时方恨少。
学生经常在阅读时没材料，写作时没素材；或不知读什么，写什么，总感觉很茫然。
于是，我在平时多指导学生做好浏览选择和积累记录的工作，注意搜集阅读和写作材料，以便随用随取。
其实，搜集素材的工作量并不大，每个材料可在60—80间左右即可。
学校开展“学雷锋，做好事”活动，我随机组织班级学生积极参加，并做好笔记，结果同学们都能些出自己的文章。
实践表明：只要平时注意搜集素材，并做到持之以恒，考场作文就一定能妙笔如神。
四．成立兴趣小组
成立阅读写作兴趣小组，可以激发同学们的热情，提高阅读写作
的水平，带动全提学生的提高。
无论是阅读还是写作，成立兴趣小组，能迅速产生迅捷、高效的效果。
当然，成立阅读写作兴趣小组，还可以集思广益，博采众长，达到资源共享的的效果，不妨试一试。
五．自主习作
让学生自由，给学生自主，符合学生心理规律和自主规律，能激发学生学习热情和上进心，能让学生提升自我，真正实现由“要我学”变为“我要学”的佳境。
指导学生自主习作，更能使他们喜闻乐道。
自主习作，可以在教师指导下进行，学生自主写作后互换，相互找错，纠错，提出中肯意见后再回到写作中去，自己手里过关，这样一个单元组次，有序推进，若长期推进此项工作，效果一定是卓越的。
学生们认为：自主时思维敏捷，习作时互通有无。
教无定法，英语教学亦如此。
真可谓天地广阔，方法很多。
但无论使用什么样的方法，必须符合教学规律，体现学生心理特点和认知规律，才能收到事办功倍的效果。
多年来的教学实践告诉我，提高认识，方法到位，训练有方，教学效果一定会很好的，遵循教学规律，符合学生心理规律和学习规律，把握好阅读写作的结合点，英语教学效果就一定会更上一层楼。
