动名词1. 基础知识动名词是非谓语动词的一种形式。
它既有动词的特征,又有名词的特征,故称动名词。
动名词也有时态和语态的变化,如表所示(以及物动词write为例),不及物动词没有语态的变化。
动词ing形式作主语通常表示抽象的或习惯性的动作。
也可用t作形式主语,动词-ing形式作真正的主语放在句末。
下列句型中常用动词-ing形式作主语:1. It is/was a waste (of...)/no use/no good doing sth.2. There is/was no sense/no point...(in) doing sth.It is no good coming before that.在那之前来没有用。
