一、修业年限
（一）招生对象：
高中毕业生及同等学力者
（二）学制：三年
（三）毕业学分及岗位资格证书要求：
学生必须修满124学分，其中必修课120学分，专业选修课2学分；公共选修课2学分。
要求学生获得旅游、翻译、外贸员、酒店服务等岗位证书。
二、专业具体培养目标
本专业培养德、智、体、美等方面全面发展，掌握扎实的英语语言基础知识和较强的英语听、说、读、写、译等实践技能，具有较广博的人文学科知识和跨文化知识、较实用的酒店、旅行社、民航运输、商务会展等相关专业知识，能在旅游社、酒店、航空、外贸、文化、教育、外事等部门从事翻译、管理、外贸实务、教学、涉外文秘等工作，具有创新精神和较强实践能力的高等技术应用型专门人才。
三、人才培养规格要求
（一）可适应的工作岗位
英语导游、涉外酒店管理、外贸实务、翻译、涉外文秘、英语教学等。
（二）获取专业等级证书或职业资格证书
学生除学业期满，修完必要课程、获得必要学分并获取毕业证外，可选择报考下列相关技能考试并获取相关资格证书。
1．全国普通高校计算机一级合格证；（必选）
2. 托业考试证书（达到600-800分，必选）
3．至少一个职业资格证书：（必选其中一种）
全国导游员资格证书（英语）
剑桥商务英语证书（中级）
全国英语翻译证书考试四级（教育部）
国际商务跟单员、单证员证书
（三）知识、能力及素质要求
1．知识要求
（1）具备高等职业院校英语专业所要求的英语听、说、读、写、译等方面的知识；
（2）掌握涉外旅游管理与服务、景区规划与管理等基础知识；
（3）具有一定的民航运输服务与管理方面的基础知识；

校外：
从第五学期的第10周开始，本专业将推荐学生到酒店、旅游、会展、机场等各单位的相关岗位进行实训或实习。
为此，本专业已与校外多家星级酒店、旅行社、公司签订长期实训、实习协议。

六、师资介绍
应用英语专业现有校内专任教师12人，其中具有硕士学位的教师4人，高级职称2人，获取行业资格证书的教师 4 人；外教 1人；校外兼职教师3人。
