《Days of a week》教学设计【教材分析】Unit 8《Days of a week》是上海版牛津英语4B的第八单元。
本单元主要围绕“星期”这个话题开展各项活动，本课时为4BUnit8“Days of a week”的第一课时。
这一课时的核心内容是认识星期和掌握他们的发音：Monday、Tuesday、Wednesday、Thursday和Friday主要学习句型What day is it today? What do we have on Mondays?及回答。
因为星期类单词是第一次接触，所以在单词发音的学习上有一定困难。
但本课所学习的知识点密切联系学生的日常实际生活，有利于激发学生的兴趣和积极性的调动。
【学情分析】本学期，我校四年级只有一个班，班上共有49人，男生较多，他们大多是进城务工子女，平时在家学习英语的时间和机会较少，因而培养和激发他们学习英语的兴趣，成为我课堂上必不可少的一个环节。
课上我经常鼓励学生们多说英语，用简单的英语交流和跟别人打招呼，经过一年的努力，大部分的学生都能积极主动用简单的英语进行交流。
本课主要是认识的星期及核心句型的表达。
学生们对有关星期的知识有一定的了解，所以接受起来应该不难。
但是词汇的发音以及概念，却需要及时的指导。
而且这个年龄段的学生活泼好动，注意力容易分散，记忆的持续时间不长，所以需要设计令他们感兴趣的环节，帮助他们提高记忆单词的效率。
并让他们能在日常生活中使用本课时主要句型What day is it today? What do we have on Mondays?及回答。
