在融冰工况时,CA、F与B、R的特性就有了明显的差别。B、R的融冰曲线基本上是一条直线,R的后期(碎冰期)温度还会下降;CA、F是塑料,其导热系数约为12.4W/m.K(低碳钢的导热系数为49.8W/m.K),其融冰曲线是一条逐渐上升的曲线(见其特性曲线);而C和Y的融冰曲线也是一条逐渐上升的曲线(见清华大学的试验曲线,未见厂家自己的特性曲线),但它的出口温升比CA和F还要高,因为它是塑料材料且其换热面积是逐渐减小的。

唐山百货大楼建筑面积 40 000m2 ,分为超级商场和条式楼两部 分。 超级商场面积 8000m2,地下 1层 ,地上 4层 ,集中空调系统于 1 992年建成 ; 条式楼面积 32000m2,地下 1层 ,地上 5层 ,集中空调系统于 1 996年建成。 大楼空调用电占大楼总用电近 70 %,原有变压器严重超负荷运 行,不得不限电运行或限制其他项目发展。

直接蒸发冰蓄冷系统
氟里昂直接蒸发式蓄冷是由冷媒管道直接制造冰 ,盘管外表形成 50~75mm厚的冰层 ,日间供冷时 ,冰的熔解是由外至内 ,在夜间制 冷时这种溶解法内部的冰水很快结冰 , 或因上次未全部溶解而使冰 附在管外壁 ,这种蓄冰通过管道外表上的冰使冻水结成冰。这一制冷 方式需要控制冰的厚度不超过 50mm左右 ,否则因冰层热阻大 ,冷媒 的传热受到影响 ,导致机组自动停止或爆裂。另外对直接蒸发系统 , 当蒸发器结冰时 ,压缩机吸气温度较低 ,单位制冷量的耗电量增加。
