I. Pre-task preparations
1．出示班上个别学生和妈妈的合影，让其他学生猜猜她是谁，然后播放Listen and enjoy的儿歌录音，为接下来的学习渲染气氛。

一、学情分析
本单元的授课对象是小学三年级的学生，他们生性活泼好动，有一定的竞争意识，对灵活多样的游戏和比赛很感兴趣，并且有很强的表现欲。结合三年级这一阶段特征，在设计教学环节时采用灵活多样，丰富多彩的教学方式来吸引学生的注意力。
同时，三年级学生，经过两年比较系统的在校英语学习，已经有了一定的基础，能进行简单的会话，能简单描述人物，颜色，爱好，节日等，能听懂简单日常的单词短语和句子，对重要节日有一定的概念和了解，会简单的祝福语。但一二年级着重孩子听说能力的培养，三年级的孩子书写能力和习惯相对而言比较薄弱，需要多以加强和指导。
二．教材分析
本单元是第四模块Things we enjoy的第二单元，教材的内容是引入母亲节这个节日概念，让学生能够用英语表达在母亲节能为妈妈做什么。单元目标是让学生能用英语表达送礼物给妈妈。句式Here’s a ... 在第八单元出现过，在这里复现，让学生加深理解和运用。因此，在设计上，我们层层递进，阶梯提升。我们通过第一课时Mother’s Day, 引出母亲节话题，在这一课中，同学们学会表达I love my
mum because ...句式。接着我们通过第二课时Things I can do for Mum, 加强学生在语境中表达I have a good idea. I can... 紧接着我们通过第三课时The gifts I can
give to Mum, 在原句式的基础上，拓展句式Here are ... for you. Have a piece of
cake. 等句式，引导学生在实际语境中表达对母亲的爱意。最后通过第四课时的绘本My Mum阅读引导和第五课时的实际写作指导，引导学生将本单元学到的内容从听、说、读、写层层递进掌握，并锻炼和培养其创编能力。
