本课时包括New words teaching + New sentences teaching +Listening and Speaking三部分,具体内容为:学会生词及句型并用适当的方式描述天气。

教学重点:了解并辨别对不同天气的描述;

教学难点:掌握用适当的方式来描述天气。

知识目标:学生能够掌握如何用英语描述天气;

能力目标:听——能够听懂天气预报,对各种不同天气的描述;

文化意识:掌握中国人与英美国家的人们表达天气的不同习惯。

Step I New words teaching

通过多媒体课件展示以下初中部分学过的单词,帮助学生温故知新:

snow雪,rainy雨,fog雾,wind风,sun太阳,cloud云。

通过多媒体课件动画由以上单词变化出形似的新单词:

snowy下雪的,rainy下雨的,foggy多雾的,windy刮风的,sunny晴朗的,cloudy阴天

(设计意图:让学生从简单的已知单词过渡到相似的生词能够帮助学生更快的学会新的生词,通过多媒体的动画设计,能够更加直观的发现新旧单词之间的联系。)

Activity 1

1. Go through the words related to weather, A---I, and then ask the Ss to read aloud.

2. Think and choose. (Ss’ individual work)

3. The teacher does orally check and feedback.

4. Go through the words again, and get the Ss to memorize them and do oral Chinese-English match work.
