×I always sleep late at night. 错误原因：汉语强行对应


sleep late是指“睡懒觉”。“sleep”改成“go to bed”或“stay up”

×The Second Hospital of... 错误原因：汉语强行对应 应该用No.2



我有健康，他有财富。
×I have health and he has wealth. 错误原因：搭配不当


health是抽象事物，用have不太好。不如改成 “I'm healthy and he is wealthy.”或“I'm in good health and he has great wealth.”更地道。



他督促我们改变自己的行为习惯，比如天天早 起。
× He urged us to reform our behavior such as getting up early in the morning. 错误原因：短语用法 such as应该用在复数后，behavior不是复数。 改为 He urged us to reform our behavior by cultivating the habits such as getting up early in the morning.



我可以占用你几分钟时间吗？
×Could I occupy some minutes of yours? 错误原因：汉语强行对应


改成“Would you spare me some minutes?”更 地道


清末民初
× At the end of Qing and at the beginning of the Republican China 错误原因：准确性 清末民初是一个连续的时间段，不是两个时期。所 以原文不恰当。改为“the late Qing and early Republican China”


他们送我到门口。
×They sent me to the door. 错误原因：搭配不当 “sent to”为“发送”“派送”。送行应该用“see sb. to”



我早上七点吃早餐。
×I had my breakfast at 7 a.m. 错误原因：啰嗦。 breakfast就是早餐。加a.m.画蛇添足。


陈老师，你说得对。
×Mr. Chen, what you say is right. 错误原因：礼节问题 原句不是在附和老师，而是对老师的话妄加评论。 直接说“you are right.”就好了



在那家快乐的酒吧
×in the gay bar 错误原因：容易引起误会 gay虽有“快乐”的意思， 但常用“同性恋” 应该改为“in the bar full of happy atmosphere”



护士量了我的体温。
× The nurse measured my temperature. 错误原因：照搬字词 measure应该为take。习惯用法

× This tree doesn't grow fruit. 错误原因：搭配不当 长果子（结出果实）用“bear”,一般的生长用 “grow”

×There were good harvest in agriculture last year. 错误原因：啰嗦 英语harvest已经与农业有关了，去掉in agriculture

×I demand you to get out immediately. 错误原因：语法 demand不直接跟人。应该为“I demand that you...”

×Whether can we write a novel? 错误原因：汉语强行对应 改成“Is it possible for us to write a novel？” 更地道



我22岁大学毕业。
× I graduated from university at 22 years old. 错误原因：混淆各种表达 要么直接说“at (the age of) 22”。要么说“when I was 22 (years old)”
