1.I’m...的用法
它是I am... 的缩写,常用于自我介绍,相当于My name’s/name is...,意为“我叫……”。
I’m/I am Jim.= My name’s/name is Jim.我是吉姆。
2.中英文名字的书写区别
(1)中文名翻译成英语时,习惯上按汉语拼音来拼写,姓在前,名在后,姓和名要分开写,且首字母都要大写,如L i J ie李杰;L i D aming 李大明。
(2)英文名姓氏在后,名在前,姓和名首字母都要大写。
如T ony S mith 托尼●史密斯,T ony为名,Smith为姓。
3.Mr/Mrs的用法
作为名词,意思分别是“先生”“夫人;太太”,常用于男、女姓氏前。
Mr/Mrs Brown布朗先生/夫人
4.What’s/What is your name,please?的用法
意为“请问你叫什么名字?”,该句型是询问对方姓名的特殊疑问句。

5.sorry的用法
(1)作为形容词,意为“对不起的;抱歉的”。
I’m sorry for breaking your cup.
我很抱歉把你的茶杯摔坏了。
(2)sorry后用问号,读时用升调,表示因为自己没有听清楚对方所说的话而感到抱歉,有请求对方再说一遍的意思。

(1)作为动词,意为“拼写”。
常用于以下表达中:
①Can you spell it,please?请问你可以拼写一下它吗?
②How do you spell it?你是怎么拼写它的?
(2)其名词形式为spelling,意为“拼写”。

7.thank的用法
(1)作为动词,意为“感谢”。
常用于以下表达中:
