一个教师平均要任三至四门的课且任多少课就得备多少课，导致备课量较大，教师工作负荷较重，无暇花费更多的精力来提高自己的英语教学水平。
例如，我校就只有我一位英语教师，三、四、五、六年级的英语课全由我一个人上。
每天我要备四堂课，写四份教案，制作四份课件，批改四个年级的作业，有时还要参加学校的听课活动。

前言

目前英语已经成为事实上的国际通用语言。

为响应我校“大学生社会实践活动”的号召，主动了解当今时代英语专业的就业前景和方向，我利用暑期实践，上网和到当地图书馆查阅了相关的资料，了解了关于英语专业的相关知识，以调查资料为基础，制作了一份“关于英语专业就业前景和方向”的调查问卷，通过同学的帮助和网上发布的形式对广东各高校部分英语专业的大学生进行问卷调查，本人以“英语专业的就业前景和方向”为主要内容进行调研，以专访在校英语专业大学生，问卷调查，网上搜索资料为主要调查方式，采集了大量的第一手资料，对此专题撰写了专题报告，在整合所有资料的基础上，形成了本课题的最终研究成果---《关于英语专业就业前景和方向的调查报告》。
