My Favorite Job

If you ask me what is my favorite occupation．I will say “tour guide” without any hesitation. The reason is that I can take this opportunity to travel all over the world. The most important point is that I can give the tourists some help when they feel strange in a new place. I like give others a hand very much.

In order to possess my ideal career, I must try my best to learn foreign languages. Meanwhile, In my spare time, I should read more books on history and geography. And I’d like to read magazines or books about different customs. I’m eager to expand my knowledge and open up my eyes.

I hope I can be a good tour guide in the future if I have chance.

E-book or Paper book?

With the development of high technology, e-book is becoming more and more popular, which triggers a discussion that “Will e-book replace the paper book in the future?”

Some people said “yes” for the reason that e-book is cheaper and much more convenient. Without the cost of paper, e-book saves money and as well protects the forest to some degree. Since e-book can be read on your telephone, so it can make your boring time enjoy. For example, when you wait for a bus, you could read

something for fun.

However, some other people argue that＂It is true e-book has its own advantages, but it does not mean that paper book can be replaced completely.＂Reading paper books has a long history and became a tradition. People are accustomed to read a good paper book to relax themselves. In addition, paper books do little harm to our eyes.

Personally, I prefer to the paper book. Though the technology is developing at a fast speed and improves our life a lot, we should keep some traditional habits to balance our life in today’s fast pace society.

Everyone has hobbies because they are very important in our life. I also have hobbies. Now let me tell you my hobbies. Exercise is one of my hobbies. The more exercise I do, the healthier I will be. After class I usually play badminton with my friends, and after dinner, I often go out for a walk with my sister. Sometimes I play ping-pong, too. So I think I have a wonderful life. Reading is another hobby of mine. On weekends, l love reading some novels, such as Jan. e Eyre, Gone with the Wind and so on. Reading can help me learn more about the world and give me a lot of happiness. I think it is very important to have good hobbies.
