“五星教学原理”提出:解决生活中遇到的问题是学习的终极目标。学习就是为了解决

问题的,这些问题不仅包括了教材中所布置的练习,同时更要求能够敏锐地发现和解决生活

中所遭遇的问题。因此我们教师要为学生学习英语创设“问题情境”。正是在这种理念的指

导下,我在教学时精心设计了以下情境:周末到了,上海要举办一场演唱会,我们一起去看

演出,我们会看到许许多多的名人,怎么样用英语来表达职业呢或者怎么来表达你最喜欢的

人的工作和特点呢?利用这一个中心问题使学生很自然的走进了本课的学习,大大激发了他

们主动探索新知的欲望。

一、以学生为主体,说唱导入

英语教学要重视对学生实际语言运用能力的培养,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流

的学习方式,学生学习的过程就是学生形成语言运用能力的过程。本课时设计遵循以上教学

理念,根据学生的实际情况,首先复习巩固所学Jobs 词汇,然后自然过渡。

二、 变课堂为生活,乐中说话

语言的实质是交际,交际的环境是生活。正如叶圣陶所说,只有来自于生活的语言才是

He/She is … d. 能够在实际情景中运用句型进行交际。 周末到了,我们一起去一个演唱会,我们会看见很多明星,用英语怎么表达职业呢? 唱歌谣,复习已经学过的John 一家人的职业。 1.到演唱会,我们看见了Super Junior M,他们是什么职业呢? 2.周杰伦既是singer, 还是什么呢? 3.男演员是actor ,那么女演员又怎么称呼呢? 4.姚明也来到了演唱会,他是干什么的呢?

看到这么多明星,你最喜欢谁?为什么呢?和小组同学一起交流一下吧。 听一听老师去了演唱会的感受吧,你能回答那些问题吗?你能写下来吗?有感情的读一读吧。 提出问题 激活旧知 新知展示 尝试应用 整合提高

自己的语言。因此,针对六年级的学生即将面临毕业,开始思考未来的人生设计实际情况,设计用I am going to be a/an ….的句型让学生说说自己的理想,进一步熟悉职业的表达。用周末的计划去上海看演唱会引出中心问题。学生对于演唱会中的明星非常感兴趣,很想进一步了解他们的职业及特点,乐于开口说英语,做到师生互动,生生互动,合作交流,在学习中体验。让学生猜到底谁在演唱会,从猜想到成功验证,学生获取知识完全依据自己已有的知识和经验主动建构出来的,不仅使学生获得了深层次的情感体验,而且创新能力和实践能力也得到培养。

三、变生活为课堂,拓展学习

以人为本的教育思想是我们所崇尚的。因而教学活动的设计应充分考虑学生的兴趣和语言水平,尽量贴近学生生活和经验,让学生置身于贴近自己生活的语境中,产生亲切感,积极主动地参与活动。我利用课件创设演唱会场景,在入场式上,需要请同学们介绍自己喜欢的明星。在示范时引导学生综合运用以前学过的爱好,外貌描写等句型,四人小组准备后让学生自己上台介绍,进行交际性练习,巩固所学知识,提高学生综合运用所学语言自由表达思想的能力,也给予学生展示自我、发现自我、发展自我的机会。只有展示才有发现,只有发现才有发展,潜能就是在这一过程中突现并丰富和发展出来的。

听、说、读、写是学习和运用语言必备的四项语言基本技能,英语水平的高低通常看听、说、读、写技能的掌握程度。心理学测试表明,人们通过视听觉所获取的知识占全部知识的80%以上。也只有具备了一定的听力,才能听清、听懂别人说的英语,才能使学生有信心去说,与别人用英语进行交际,才能保证英语课堂教学的顺利进行。在最后一个环节,我给全班同学布置了一个听的任务:认真听一篇短文,回答文章涉及的问题,并进行填空练习,培养良好的“听”的习惯。突破教学难点后,最后以小组合作的形式进行真实、自然且富有意义的语言交际活动,进一步巩固所学,促使学生获取、处理和使用信息,用英语与他人交流,提高用英语解决实际问题的能力。

这节课的教学设计,形式多样,从头到尾,让学生在活动中学习。从导入到新授,到巩固练习,到延伸,都在活动中进行,一切一切的活动,都围绕着中心问题展开,借以突出重点,在活动中突破难点。抓基础,小步调,稳步前进,让学生有成就感,学得轻松而愉快。容量较大,如:让学生提前了解动词变名词的方式及不同性别的英语职业名称的差异,在一定程度上拓展学生的知识面。练习有层次,循序渐进,既照顾了学困生,也培养了优生的技能。整堂课学生的学习气氛很浓,效果不错。

教学内容:An Exciting Party

教材和学情分析:这个单元主要围绕职业展开话题,重点是使学生掌握一些常见职业的英语表达并就此展开相关讨论,在第三册中学生已经接触到几个职业单词,也学会了用“what’s your father/mother”来询问职业,同时在前一单元已经学过一般现在时第三人称单数在陈述句和一般疑问句中的用法,因此本单元的重点句型:what does your father/mother do?对学生来说要掌握并不是难点,难点应该是综合运用各种已学过的句型讨论父母的职业并进行交流。通过本课的学习,学生能完成一个更高的目标:能够熟练运用what does do? 就职业和家庭进行一般现在时语言交流和实际交际并能够书写。而熟练运用多种不同句型进行交流也是这节课的难点。

教学目标:

a. 能听、说、读、写单词:singer, actor, actress

b. 能听说、认读句子:What does she/he do? She/He is a …

c. 能听懂、会说: An exciting party. He/She is …

d. 能够在实际情景中运用句型进行交际。

教学重点:学习职业的英语表达,并能就“职业”简单问答,介绍。

教学难点:理解exciting, 区分冠词an和a。
