My sister said the recordings had people speaking in all these different English accents - American, British, Australian. And some of the speakers talked super fast too which made it really hard to understand. If I had to take that section I would have been lost!But I think the worst part for my sister was the writing section. She had to write a huge essay in perfect English about some complicated topic. And she only had like an hour to do it! Can you imagine? I can barely write a one page essay for school in an entire week. How is anyone supposed to write a graduate level essay in an hour? That's insane!Oh and there was also a translation section where you had to translate passages back and forth between Chinese and English. My sister said some of the translations required really advanced vocabulary that you basically had to have memorized special lists of words for. Geez, talk about specific!Anyway, after months of hardcore studying and feeling super stressed out, my sister finally took the exam on a Saturday morning in June. The exam was at some big university downtown and there were tons of other students there looking nervous.
