在新课程实践中农村学校高中英语听力教学的积极尝试《普通高中英语课程标准》的一个突出的特征就是把“听”放在了前所未有的重要位置。

在每个教学单元,无论是听力内容还是听力训练任务,与旧教材相比,都得到了极大的调整,使得听力教学被摆在整个语言教学任务的首要位置。

听力内容及训练任务与单元教学主题鲜明呼应,并且配有与听力内容紧密相关的“说”的练习。

这样listening教学目标明确,体现出“任务型”教学设计,既便于教师灵活安排,又能引起学生对听力的足够重视。

但是新课程标准理念下的英语听力教学的目标要求更高。

高中英语课程目标中的七级是高中阶段必须达到的级别要求。

八级、九级是愿意进一步提高英语综合语言运用能力的高中学生实际的目标。

通过比较新课标听力七级和八级的目标要求,不难看出,新课程标准对学生听力所要达到的目标有了全新、更高和更为具体的要求。

然而在实际的农村高中英语教学中,绝大多数教师喜欢上阅读课,他们认为这些听力材料语速快,难度大,太费时,教材中听力练习的题型不符合高考听力题型,不适合学生使用,尤其是农村学生使用,因而在教学中对这一部分有所忽视。

即使使用这些材料,也局限于“放音、做题、对答案”,听后只是对生词和难句进行解释,忽视了听力技能、策略和情感态度的培养。

针对这些情况,我在听力教学中进行了积极的尝试,下面以重大版教材必修3第一单元friends and friendship 听力asking for and giving advice为例,说说我在教学中采用的几个教学活动:教学活动1:pre-listening重大版高中英语必修3第一单元friends and friendship话题是朋友和友谊。

在进行练习册中的听力训练前,播放两个视频短片,关于如何处理同学之间的关系,在投影上显示出下列讨论话题,让学生分成小组互相讨论。

〔视频一〕你在同学家玩,他的弟弟突然从楼梯上摔下来,腿部受伤了,而他的父母又不在家,你同学不知怎么办,你应该给出什么样的建议〔视频二〕你和同学一起骑车去上学,途中你同学的自行车突然坏了,而此时上课的时间又要到了,你同学不知怎么办,你应该给出什么样的建议【pre-listening活动设计的理由】听前练习的目的旨在激活,或者提供给学生相关背景知识,简化较难的听力内容。

在高中英语教学中对教材内容删减

浅谈在高中英语教学中对教材内容的删减【摘要】:本文以《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》(教育部,2003)为依据,结合笔者新课程改革以来的一些实际教学经验,探寻了高中英语教师在教学实践中如何有机地对教材内容进行适当的删减。

实践证明只要我们广大英语教师认真对教材进行分析,对学生的需求和水平深入了解,并根据自己的教学条件和教学环境适当删减教材的内容,往往能够创造性地完成课程标准中提出的教学目的与任务。

【关键词】:高中英语教材内容删减在我们日常教学中经常会感叹一个单元的这么多内容怎么处理,学生怎么能够在短短的一周左右的时间里掌握这些语言知识和培养课标上所要求的能力。

实际上高中英语课程改革的指向是课程,将教材转换成课程需要对教材进行整合,唤醒教师的课程意识是整合教材能力形成的前提。

同时,教材整合有一定的原则和方法,不能随心所欲。

作为高中英语教师,我们要增强课程意识,研究课程标准和教材文本,了解学情,有效整合教材,实施优化教学,提高课堂效益(肖克义,2008)。

《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》(教育部,2003)明确指出:“教师要具备开发课程资源的能力,创超性地完成教学任务。

课程标准是教师进行教学和评价的重要依据,教材是完成课程目标的途径或媒介。

教师应根据课程的要求和教学实际的需要,灵活地和有创造性地使用教材,对教材的内容、编排顺序和教学方法等方面进行适当的取舍或调整”,由于考试的压力和我们长期对教材功能的认识有偏差,过多地依赖教材,使得大多数教师就算意识到教材的不适用性的问题,也由于种种客观原因,往往不能或不敢对教材进行取舍和调整,因而就不可能做到灵活地、创造性地使用教材。

根据《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》(教育部,2003)的要求,教材要有灵活性、伸缩性和可选择性,也就是说,教师和学生可以有选择地使用教材、学习教材,对教材进行合理的取舍和调整,不会影响教材的完整性和系统性。

如果教师仍然像过去一样机械地使用教材,将不可避免地增加学生的学习负担,或无法满足学生的需要。

Unit 1 Friendship一、教材分析本单元的中心话题是“友谊”,几乎所有的内容都是围绕这一中心话题展开的。

“热身”(Warming Up)部分以调查问卷的形式引导学生了解日常生活中朋友之间发生的真实问题以及解决这些问题的方法。

“读前”(Pre-reading)部分的几个问题启发学生对“友谊”和“朋友”进行思考,使学生明确不仅人与人之间可以做朋友,日记也可以成为人们的朋友。

“阅读”(Reading)部分 ANNE'S BEST FRIEND以日记形式讲述了犹太女孩儿安妮的故事。

二战中为躲避纳粹的迫害,她和家人不得不藏身于荷兰阿姆斯特丹的一个小阁楼里,不能与外界接触,周围又没有可以推心置腹、与之深谈的朋友。

孤独之中她将日记作为朋友倾诉衷肠,在写日记的过程中寻求解决问题的办法。

“理解”(Comprehending)部分通过连句、多项选择和问答题的形式帮助学生对课文内容、细节进行更深入的理解。

“语言学习”(Learning about Language)部分教学本课重点词汇和重点语法项目。

“语言运用”(Using Language)部分的读两封信、听一段话、设计调查问卷、写信以及趣味写作,给学生提供了广阔空间去探讨友谊、友情,尤其是涉及到现实生活中被朋友误解、曲解,没有朋友的孤独寂寞等问题,既锻炼了学生的语言运用能力,又培养了学生发现问题、思考问题、解决问题的能力。

“小结”(Summing Up)部分引导学生从本单元的话题、词汇和语法等方面对所学内容进行总结(参考教学目的和要求栏目)。

“学习建议”(Learning Tip)部分鼓励学生养成写日记的习惯。

这样,一方面可以习得语言,另一方面还可以将日记作为自己的朋友表达感情与思想。

二、教学目标1. 语言知识掌握本单元词汇(单词35个,短语16)、语法(陈述句和疑问句的直接引语和间接引语)、及功能(Giving opinions)并了解话题(Friends and friendship & interpersonal relationships)2. 语言技能1)听能听懂劝谏信中的关键词,并能掌握说话者的忠告,领会其观点、态度和意图。
