【学情分析】从学生年龄特点和认知特点，以及对英语学习的情感表现来看，本单元的教学对象是六年级的学生，他们学习英语的热情虽然没有低年级学生那么高、兴趣也没那么浓，但他们喜新好奇，求知欲强，并且具有较高的表现欲，且经过三年的英语学习，他们已有一定的词汇和语言基础，而且他们也有比较强的竞争意识，更喜欢通过活动游戏等形式学习新知。
【设计理念】本单元是6B Module 2第二课，本单元主题是crafts.基于对教材理解和学生实际情况分析，从单元整体教学思路的角度，从语义理解，语用功能的学习以及从学到动手能力的培养来设计教学环节。
我们将本课分为三个课时，，围绕手工的相关内容层层递进进行教学活动，帮学生在情境中学习语言并提高阅读能力，动手能力，从而达到听说读写能力的整体提高。
