On Excessive Packaging

Wandering at the supermarkets, you could find that the shelves are fulfilled with fancy and excessive packaging goods with high price, especially when festivals approach. Although the government has concerned with that issue, the phenomena still flourishes.

The reasons can be listed as follows. First, manufactures could benefit from the fancy packaging. Glorious packaging would increase the price to a large extent, from which they

can gain excessive money. Second, most of this kind of goods are brought and sent as gifts to their relatives and leaders. Gorgeous packaging would attract people’s attention and make the people who buy them have the honor to send them out.

To my mind, excessive packaging is just a waste of resources and money. Most people would throw the package away after they opened it, which would lead to a severe pollution. To prevent the situation, every citizen should be aware of the problem and laws must be made to restrict the manufactures to cut down on luxurious packaging.

There is a prevalent joke around young people saying that ‘quitting smoking is the easiest thing in the world, and I’ve done it for hundreds of times.’ This seemingly funny statement ironically reflects the fact that the determination of most youngsters is oftentimes started with enthusiasm, but the passion becomes increasingly weaker each day, and then diminishes as if there has been no such thing at all.

It is obvious that their failure in ‘quitting smoking’ and decline of determination are all ascribed to their lack of will. Initially, every success involves several stages of setbacks and risks, and we need to summon up our will to conquer them. Moreover, there are enormous temptation in our path of pursuit of success. For instance, when we plan to quit smoking, our roommates may smoke freely in front of us; when we are eager to keep fit, our close friends may invite us to have late night snacks. Due Attention Should Be Given to Spelling

Nowadays fewer and fewer students pay attention to their word-spelling. Nowadays, an increasing number of museums are admission-free to visitors home and abroad. For example, staff with master’s degree receive a better payment than those with bachelor’s degree, according to a survey of the payment to the employee. These survey indicates that education degree does have a relationship with earnings, contrary to the recent theory of useless education.

Recently, there is a heated discussion about the significance of the education. Some people hold a view that higher education is useless since college education cannot mesh with the social needs. Some think that higher education is indispensable if you want to go far in both your studies and life. Now that survey has proved which part is wiser.

As for me, I definitely support the view that education is necessary for people’s life. Reading can not only make me survive well in this society with fierce competition but also help me make sense of life. I pursue for it for my whole life.

I assume that you are familiar with the phenomenon of “Excessive Packaging”. Taking a look around，we can find examples with ease：a small computer is packed in a thick and heavycarton，clothes are putted in a well-designed plastic bagsand moon-cakes are usually placed in delicate boxes.

What are the causes of this problem? On the one hand, to earn moreeconomic gains, a considerable number of manufactures usually wrap their products with unnecessary but appealing materials aiming at attracting customer’s attention , arousing their curiosity and then stimulating their purchasing desire. On the other hand, quite a few customers believe that the moredelicate the package seems，the superior the quality will be,the notion has also encouraged the trend of excessive packaging.

To change this situation, I think we should take the following measures. First, laws must be made and implemented to impose restriction onexcessive packaging. Moreover, a public education campaign should be launched to arouse customers' consciousness that packaging doesn't equal to quality. Only in this way can we put an end to this trend. (185words)

In recent years, the excessive use of packages has become quite a serious problem in China. As for the reasons of excessively packaging, there are many factors contributing to it.
