Unit 3 It is time to get up
第一课时
一、教学对象分析
四年级的学生生动活泼好动，思维活跃，表达欲强，善于模仿，对英语学习兴趣浓厚，而且记忆力强，形象思维好。
喜欢唱歌，编读小诗，玩游戏等活动进行英语的学习。
本课的学习内容对于学生来说比较生活化，学生应该对所学内容兴趣。
在语言基础上，经过两年的英语口语学习和一年三年级的英语学习，学生积累了一定的词汇短语，养成了一定的连贯说话的能力，能简单地用英语与人交流。
二、教学目标
（一）知识目标
1.Learn the new words .
2.句型：It’s time to / for … What time is it ? / It’s …
（二）能力目标
能根据时间表来确定自己的活动并能用所学句型进行简单交流。
（三）情感目标
培养积极的生活态度和良好的生活习惯。
树立自主学习，主动参与的意识，养成勤于模仿、敢于创新的习惯，发扬协作精神，体验合作的成就感。
三、教学重难点
（一）教学重点：本课新单词、句型用语及对课文的理解。
（二）教学难点：It’s time to 与for 的区分；不是整点时间的表示方法。
一、Warming up and revision .
1. Let’s guess . （猜谜语，引出时钟，复习数字。
）

2.What number is missing ?
数字按顺序出现一次，再不按顺序消失一次，出现和消失学生都齐读复习数字。
二.Presentation
1. 学习整点的表达。
T： Look at the clock . A clock can tell us time . Do you know what time is it ?
2. 学习半点的表达。
3.学习a quarter 以及past .学习几点一刻钟的表达。
T： Children , look at the clock . What time is it ? Is it 12 o’clock?

教具准备：教学过程：1．Uncle Booky讲故事（1）让学生翻开第36页，看图。
问学生是否知道这个故事。

（4）让学生打开书，看图。
（5）让学生在故事中找熟悉的词语。
（6）让学生默读故事，鼓励他们猜测生词的意思。

（3）把学生分成两人一组，每组准备这五张卡片。
让学生把卡片正面朝下放。
（4）给学生解释两人轮流拿起一张卡片，让对方猜出是什么。
告诉学生答案只有五种可能，并且注意不要让对方看到卡片的正面。
（5）每次猜的学生必须问：“Is it (hot)?”另一个学生回答：“Yes, it is.”或“No, it isn’t.”（6）猜的学生继续问问题，直到猜出正确的名称：“Is it (cold)? Is it (sweet)?... (ice cream)!”然后两个互换角色。
（7）游戏继续进行直到用完全部卡片。
