be designed for … 为……而打算／设计

fancy

/'fænsi/

adj. 奇特的；异样的

vt. 想象；设想；爱好

n. 想象力；幻想；爱好

My sister likes to collect fancy clothes.

fancy that … 以为是……

fancy oneself自负，自命不凡

fancy (doing) sth.喜欢，想要（做）某事fancy 用于感叹句中时表示“没想到，竟然”

He fancies that he can succeed without working hard. 他以为他不努力工作也能成功。

I don't fancy going all that way in such bad weather. 我不喜欢在这样的坏天气里一直这么走着。

Fancy you sitting there as if nothing had happened! 想不到你坐在那里，仿佛什么也没发生似的!

vt. 考虑；认为

n.考虑；关心

✓considering

prep.考虑到；就……而言

take sth. into consideration 考虑(某事) consider doing sth./sth.考虑做某事

consider sb./sth. as/to be …认为；以为；觉得consider it+adj.+to do sth.…认为做某事是……

You'd better take the quality into consideration.

你必须考虑到质量的问题。

Considering the high quality, our price is very reasonable. 不过鉴于产品的优良质量，我们的价格非常合理。

I am considering going out for a walk.

我在考虑出去散步。

We consider this matter to be very important.

我们认为这件事很重要。

We consider it hard to study English well.

我们认为学好英语很难。

It is worthwhile to do sth.值得去做某事

It is worthwhile doing sth.值得做某事

It is worthwhile for sb. to do/doing sth. 值得某人做某事

It is worthwhile to consider this view more attentively. 这样的观点，我们应该更加用心地来考虑。

It is worthwhile making such an experiment.

做这样的实验是值得的。

It is usually not worthwhile for them to make a case of it.一般说来，他们认为不值得为此提出控告。

be wonder at对……感到惊讶

be wonder about想弄明白；琢磨

It is a wonder (that) …奇怪的是……

(It is) no/little/small wonder (that …) 难怪……；……并不奇怪

The child stood on the sand, lost in wonder at his first sight of the sea. 小孩站在海滩上，对他第一次见到大海惊叹不已。
