笔记全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Unit 1: A Bite of ChinaClass Notes by [Your Name]This unit was all about food and eating habits in China. It had some really interesting texts and fun activities to learn about Chinese cuisine and dining culture. The first text was called "Eight Cuisines of China" and it talked about the major regional styles of cooking in different parts of the country. I learned that China is huge with tons of diversity, so the food varies a lot from place to place based on things like the climate, geography, lifestyle, and local ingredients. In the northern regions like Beijing, the food is influenced by the cold, dry climate. Popular dishes use a lot of wheat-based ingredients like noodles, dumplings, and steamed buns. The flavors tend to be salty, light, and not too spicy. Some typical dishes are zhajiangmian (noodles with bean sauce), jiaoziI (boiled dumplings), and Beijing kaoya (roast duck).Down in Sichuan province in the southwest, the cuisine is totally different and famous for being super spicy and fragrant. They use a ton of dried chili peppers, Sichuan peppercorns, garlic, ginger, and other strong flavors. Dishes like mapo tofu, kung pao chicken, and dandan noodles will set your mouth on fire if you're not used to it! But it's delicious once you acquire the taste.I also learned about Cantonese cuisine from the Guangdong region, which is where American-Chinese takeout food like sweet and sour pork originates. The Cantonese style uses a lot of fresh seafood and meat cooked quickly over high heat to seal in the flavors. Sauteed greens with garlic and dim sum small plates are also typical.Other big regional styles covered were Hunan, Zhejiang, Fujian, Anhui, and Xinjiang cuisines. Each has its own unique tastes and cooking methods influenced by the local environment and culture. China really does have an amazing diversity of delicious foods!Another reading was about the "Philosophy of Chinese Cuisines" and the principles behind them. I found it really interesting how food is seen as not just sustenance in China, but also tied to ideas of health, harmony, and even ethics. The main principles are:Using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients as much as possibleBalancing cooking techniques like steaming, stir-frying, braising to preserve nutritionAchieving a balance of flavors (sweet, sour, bitter, pungent, salty)Emphasizing color, aroma, taste, shape, and even the "energy" of foodsNot wasting ingredients by using every part of plants and animalsIt made me realize how the way food is produced and prepared really ties into Chinese philosophy, traditional medicine, and environmental ethics. There's so much thought and history behind it compared to how we often just grab something convenient in the West.We also read an extract from a book by a famousChinese-American food writer about her childhood memories of food back in Beijing. Her vivid descriptions made me feel like I could smell all the savory aromas of the sizzling woks and taste the flavorful dishes as she recounted family dinners and holidaycelebrations. Food is truly an important part of cultures and family traditions. For the listening part, we heard a dialogue where a man was taking his foreign friend out to a classic Beijing noodle restaurant.I had to listen carefully to catch the details of how they ordered different noodle bowls and traditional snacks like jianbing (crepes with fillings). It was a bit challenging but good practice for real-life situations. The writing assignment for this unit was to describe our favorite Chinese dish in detail–the look, aroma, taste, and the method of preparation. I chose to write about hot and sour soup, which is a popular dish from Sichuan that I love. With all the new vocabulary I learned about ingredients, cooking techniques, textures and flavors, I was able to go really in-depth about the different components that make it so delicious and complexly layered. Describing food in such sensory detail made my mouth water just writing about it!To practice speaking, we did a role-play activity where we took turns being restaurant servers and customers ordering different regional Chinese dishes off a menu. We had to use phrases for politely making recommendations, asking about ingredients, confirming orders, and so on. It was a bitnerve-wracking at first having to respond spontaneously, but it turned into a lot of fun with everyone joking around in character and pretending to be dramatic epicures.Overall, this unit made me so much more knowledgeable and appreciative of the diversity and culture behind Chinese cuisines. Trying new dishes from different regions has been an adventure for my taste buds. I have a new fascination with ingredients like star anise, fermented black beans, and tingly Sichuan peppercorns that I never really paid attention to before. I'm definitely more motivated to keep exploring the wide world of Chinese cooking moving forward!篇2Unit 1 Notes - An Incredible JourneyHey there! It's me again, back with my notes for the first unit of our new English textbook. This unit is called "An Incredible Journey" and boy, does it live up to its name! We've been exploring some really fascinating topics related to travel, adventure, and discovering new places.First up, we tackled the grammar focus of this unit: past tenses. I have to admit, keeping track of all the different past tense forms (simple past, past continuous, present perfect, etc.)can be a real headache sometimes. But our teacher did a great job of breaking it down for us with plenty of examples and practice exercises. One of the reading passages that really stood out to me was "The Man Who Walked Across the World." It's the incredible true story of a British man named Dave Kunst who embarked on an insane journey - walking from the tip of South America all the way to the northwestern corner of Alaska! Can you even imagine? The passage described all the challenges he faced along the way, from traversing treacherous mountain ranges to battling extreme weather conditions. What an absolute madman! But also, kind of inspiring in a weird way.Another cool text we looked at was a short narrative called "A Journey by Train." While not quite as epic as Dave Kunst's trek, it still captured that sense of adventure and wonder that comes with travel. The vivid descriptions of the passing landscapes seen from the train window really made me feel like I was right there, watching the scenery unfold. Maybe I'll take a long train trip someday and experience it for myself! In terms of language skills, we spent a good chunk of time practicing how to write effective narratives. Our teacher emphasized the importance of using descriptive language topaint a picture in the reader's mind, as well as incorporating dialogue and varying our sentence structures. To be honest, creative writing has never been my strong suit, but I feel like I'm slowly getting the hang of it thanks to all the practice we've been doing.Oh, and I can't forget to mention the absolutely hilarious short film we watched called "The Trip to Jerusalem." It's about these two bumbling guys who get hilariously lost and end up in all sorts of wacky misadventures while trying to find their way to their intended destination. We had to analyze the use of humor and identify the plot elements, but it was just篇3Unit 1 Notes - An Unforgettable ExperienceHey there! It's me again with my notes on the first unit of our new English textbook. This unit was all about sharing experiences and let me tell you, some of the stories we read were really wild! The first text was called "An Unforgettable Journey" and it was about this guy named Michael who went on a road trip across the United States with his family when he was a kid. At first I thought it would be kind of boring, but Michael's dad got them lost in the desert in Arizona and they almost ran out of gasand water! They had to dig a hole to protect the car from the blazing sun. Can you imagine? I would have been freaking out if I was in that situation. Luckily, a truck driver spotted them and brought them food, water, and directions. Michael said it was terrifying at the time but looking back it was an unforgettable adventure. I'll say!The next story was super creepy. It was called "A Narrow Escape" and it was about this woman named Annie who got caught in a storm while hiking in the mountains. The rain was pouring down and the trail turned into a river of mud. Annie slipped and tumbled down the slope, cracking her head on a rock! She was knocked unconscious in the freezing rain. When she finally came to, it was dark and she had no idea where she was. Annie had to spend the night alone in the woods, soaking wet and injured. She used her backpack as a shelter and was terrified of bears or other animals finding her in that condition. The next morning, she heard rescuers calling her name and was saved just in time. Reading that story gave me chills!I have to say, the best story in the unit was "Lost in the Amazon" by this guy Marco. He went with his uncle to do some exploring and photography in the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. Everything was going great until their guide got bitten by avenomous snake! With no anti-venom and the guy's life in danger, Marco and his uncle had to carry him and find their way out of the dense jungle. They got hopelessly lost and were running out of food and water. For days they battled swarms of insects, deadly snakes, scorching heat, and heavy rains as they tried to find their way to safety. At one point, they came across an uncontacted tribe and had to communicate with them through hand gestures to get directions. It was a total adrenaline rush reading that story! While those were the main texts we studied, we also read shorter anecdotes from people about getting lost or having adventures. Like this one guy who got stuck overnight at the airport during a snowstorm and had to sleep curled up on a baggage carousel. Or this lady who accidentally joined a parade while touring Spain because she thought it was just a street festival. Those were pretty funny to read.In this unit, we focused on vocabulary and phrases related to travel, exploration, and describing experiences. We learned tons of new words like "trek", "treacherous", "torrential", "provisions", and "backpack" just to name a few. I feel like my English level really levelled up when it comes to talking about journeys andadventures now. I can discuss everything from breaking camp to encountering venomous snakes! The grammar was kind of a challenge though. We looked at past perfect tense for describing sequences of events, like "After they had set up camp, night fell quickly in the jungle." We also covered clauses with words like "although" and "despite" for contrast, like "Although they were weary, they pressed on." Or "Despite their fatigue, they continued their trek." Stuff like that. I have to admit I'm still a little shaky on using past perfect tense correctly. Hopefully it will click soon with more practice! For the writing tasks, we had to describe a trip or journey we took, real or imagined. We also did some creative writing pieces where we continued the narrative from one of the stories in a different direction. Like, what if Michael's family hadn't been rescued and they had to spend weeks stranded in the desert? Or if Annie had been attacked by a bear in the woods? You can really let your imagination run wild. I enjoyed the creative stuff. We watched a couple of cool videos too, like one about a family who sailed across the Pacific Ocean in a tiny boat. And another about teenagers who went on a camping adventure but got caught in a flash flood and had to be rescued by helicopter. Those were intense! The project for this unit was to work in groups and plan out an imaginary adventure trip, complete with an itinerary, budget, packing list, and what to do in emergency situations. My group chose to "go" trekking through the Himalayas in Nepal. We had so much fun researching the terrain, wildlife, cultural experiences, and potential dangers. Then we made a presentation with pictures, maps, and sample dialogue of how we'd handle hypothetical situations like baggage getting lost or facing an unexpected snowstorm. Our hard work paid off because we got an A+!That's a wrap on Unit 1 - I don't know about you, but I'm feeling pretty adventurous after studying all those daring tales of travel and survival. Hopefully I don't actually get stranded in the jungle or lost at sea anytime soon! But if I do, at least I'll be prepared with all the English skills I gained. Who's ready to move on to Unit 2? Let's go!。
