2.能根据写作意图和文段的主题内容,合理使用句型和词语,芋握段落及筒章的基本结构和写作方法;

1New Words We Learned This YearHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm a 5th grader. Today I want to tell you about some new English words we learned in class this year. Our teacher said these words were just added to the big English book that tells schools what words we need to know. Pretty cool, right? The first new word is "resilience." Can you say that?Re-sil-ience. It means being able to bounce back from hard times or troubles. Like when I fell off my bike last summer and scraped my knee, but I didn't cry and just got back on the bike. That's resilience!Another new word is "inclusive." In-clu-sive. It means including everyone and making sure no one is left out. At my school, we have an inclusive playground where kids withdisabilities can play too. We make sure to include everyone in our games at recess. Being inclusive is really important. Here's a tricky one - "empirical." Em-pir-i-cal. Don't worry, I had trouble with it at first too! It means based on experiments and real evidence, not just ideas or guesses. In science class, we did an empirical experiment by testing which materials float or sink. We couldn't just guess! The next word is "paradigm." Par-a-dime. It's kind of like a model or example of how to think about something. Like how we have a new paradigm for recycling at school - we sort our trash into compost, recycling, and landfill bins. A whole new way of doing things!Ooh, this one is fun - "entrepreneurship!"En-tre-pren-neur-ship. It means starting and running your own business. Like when my friend Sam opened a lemonade stand last summer. She was being an entrepreneur and learning entrepreneurship skills!Let's look at one more - "algorithm." Al-go-rith-m. It's a set of steps or instructions for solving a problem, especially for computers. We actually learned some basic algorithms in coding club for giving the computer directions. Algorithms help computers do cool things! Those are just a few examples of the awesome new words we got to learn about this year. I really like learning new English vocabulary - it helps me understand more and express myself better. Maybe I'll be a writer when I grow up and use tons of new words!Well, that's all for my article today. Let me know if you have any other questions about these new English words. Study hard and never stop learning! Bye bye!篇2Certainly! Here's an article about the new vocabulary added to the 2020 revised edition of the "English Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools (2017 Edition)," written in the tone of an elementary school student and approximately 2,000 words in length:New Words in My Big Sis' English BookHi there, friends! It's me, your pal Emily. Today, I want to tell you about some really cool new words that my big sister, Sarah, has been learning in her high school English class. She showed me her brand-new English book, and oh boy, there are so many fascinating words in there!First up, let me tell you about this word called "sustainable." Doesn't it sound like a superhero's name? Like, "Here comes Sustainable, ready to save the planet!" Well, it actually means something that can keep going for a long time without causing harm to the environment. My sister told me that we need to live in a sustainable way so that we don't use up all the Earth's resources. Pretty neat, huh?Another word that caught my eye was "resilient." It sounds like a type of alien creature, but it actually means being tough and able to bounce back from difficult situations. Sarah said that resilient people don't give up easily, even when things get really hard. I think we could all use a bit more resilience in our lives, don't you agree? Now, get this – there's a word called "pandemic." I know, it sounds like some kind of weird dance craze, but it's actually pretty serious. A pandemic is a disease that spreads all over the world, affecting lots and lots of people. Sarah told me that we recently went through a pandemic called COVID-19, which is why we had to wear masks and stay home for a while. Crazy, right?Oh, and here's a fun one: "entrepreneurship." It's a long word, but it basically means starting and running your own business. Sarah said that being an entrepreneur is like being theboss of your own company. How cool is that? Maybe one day, I'll start my own lemonade stand business and be an entrepreneur too! There are so many other amazing words in Sarah's English book, like "globalization," "innovation," and "interdisciplinary." I can't wait to learn more about them as I get older. Who knows, maybe I'll even become a word expert one day!For now, though, I'm just happy to have caught a glimpse of these new words and to have my big sister explain them to me. Learning new things is always exciting, especially when it comes to languages and words. English is such a rich and fascinating language, and I can't wait to discover even more of its wonders as I grow up.Well, that's all for today, friends. I hope you enjoyed hearing about some of the new words in my sister's English book. Until next time, keep exploring, keep learning, and keep having fun with words!Your pal,Emily篇3New Words to Learn! A Kid's Guide to the 2020 English UpdatesHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 4th grader who loves learning new words. You'll never believe what I just found out –the big English experts updated the list of words that high school students need to know in 2020! They added over 500 new words to the original list from 2017. How exciting is that?I know some of you might be thinking "Ugh, more words to memorize?" But hear me out! Learning new vocabulary is like unlocking little treasure chests of knowledge. Each word is a key that opens up new ideas and lets you express yourself in cooler, fancier ways. It's actually really fun once you get the hang of it.For example, one new word is "resilient." It means being able to recover quickly from difficulties or tough situations. Isn't that a great word to describe someone who is strong and brave? Now you can say "My mom is so resilient after everything she's been through" instead of just "My mom is tough." See how much more descriptive and meaningful that sounds?Another awesome new word is "scrutinize." It means to examine something very carefully and closely. You could say "I had to scrutinize the tiny print on the form to make sure I filled it out right." Way cooler than just saying "look at closely," right? Some of the other neat new words are "cohesive" which means unified, "overt" which means obvious or out in the open, and "indispensable" which means absolutely necessary. I really want to start working those into my vocabulary! But you know what? Over 500 new words is a lot to take in all at once. My advice is to start small and learn just a few at a time. Maybe pick 5-10 new words each week to really focus on and use as much as possible when speaking and writing.A fun way to practice is to describe your day using the new vocabulary. Like "After an indispensable breakfast giving me energy, I overtly rushed to school to scrutinize the challenging math lesson. Despite adversities, I remained resilient!"See how using fancier words just elevates the whole sentence and makes you sound so mature and knowledgeable? It's kind of empowering in a way.The best part about vocabulary is that the more words you know, the more precisely you can communicate your thoughts and feelings to others. You'll be amazed at how much richer your writing and conversations become. So don't be intimidated by those 500+ new words! Take it one step at a time, be patient with yourself, and try to have funwith it. Who knows, maybe adding some of this newly approved vocabulary to your English skills will be a cohesive, indispensable way to boost your communication for years to come. How resilient of you to take on this challenge! Let's get learning, word nerds!篇4New Words in My Big Bro's English BookHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I love learning new things, especially new words! My big brother Jason just started high school this year. He's really smart and always helps me with my homework. The other day, I was looking at his new English textbook and saw lots of words I didn't know. I asked him what they meant and he explained they were new vocabulary added to the updated English curriculum standards. Wasn't that nice of him?Jason said the first new word was "graffiti." He told me it means drawings or words sprayed or sketched on walls or other surfaces, usually without permission. I made a face because I don't like when people make a mess like that. But Jason said sometimes graffiti can be really artistic and meaningful. I guessI'll have to see some good examples before deciding if I like it or not.The next word was "demolish." Jason demonstrated by knocking down the tower of blocks I had built. I wasn't too happy about that! Demolish means to knock down or pull apart a building. He should have asked before wrecking my architectural masterpiece! Then there was "nurture." That's a nicer word, meaning to take care of and encourage the growth of something, like nurturing a plant or nurturing someone's talents. I nurture my stuffed animal collection by keeping them clean and arranged neatly on my bed. Mom and Dad nurture me by feeding me healthy meals and helping with my homework."Emancipate" was a big word I had never heard before. It means to free someone from slavery, oppression or restraint. Jason said it was an important word in history when people were fighting to end slavery and give everyone equal rights. I'm glad we emancipated children from having to work long hours in factories a long time ago.I giggled when Jason said "puke" was a new word on the list. It means to vomit. I knew that one already because sometimesmy little brother pukes when he eats too much candy. Not a very nice word, but I guess English students need to learn it.There was "oxymoron" which means a combination of words that contradict each other, like "pretty ugly" or "virtual reality." Also "avant-garde" for something that is extremely modern and innovative in areas like art, culture or society. Those are some fancy words I'll have to remember! One word that scared me a little was "paranoia" which means an unreasonable feeling that people are working against you or persecuting you. I hope I never get paranoid! Jason tried to cheer me up by making a joke using another new word - "glamorous" which describes someone or something attractive and full of glamour or excitement. He said "Your stuffed koala looks very glamorous today!" Which made me laugh. Some other interesting new words were "cholesterol" which is a fatty substance that can clog arteries, "autism" which is a developmental disorder, "alienate" meaning to make someone feel isolated or not part of a group, and "concur" meaning to agree or share the same opinion. Lots of new vocabulary to wrap my head around!Jason's textbook also had some new technology words like "webinar" for an online seminar, "digitize" meaning to convertsomething into digital form, and "burnout" which refers to physical or mental collapse from overwork or overstress. There were science words too like "organism," "polymer" and "catalyst." I'll have to study hard to learn all those when I'm older! At the end, I asked Jason if the new words were hard for him. He said some were tricky but learning new vocabulary helps expand his knowledge and ability to communicate clearly. I could tell he felt the updates to the curriculum were a good thing overall.Well, that's my report on all the fresh new words added to my brother's English class! There were definitely some funny ones, some big ones, some scary ones, and lots I'll need to learn eventually too. But I'm excited to keep discovering more words and their meanings. Expanding your vocabulary is an important part of truly mastering a language. Thanks for reading, and here's to many more words to come!篇5Title: New Words, New Adventures! It's me, your old pal Jimmy. You'll never guess what I learned today! You know that huge book the high school kids use for English class? The one that's pretty much as thick as a dictionary? Well, it just got even bigger! You see, there are these really smart people who decide what words and stuff should go into that massive book. Their job is to make sure high schoolers learn all the English they need to know. Pretty cool gig if you ask me!A few years back, in 2017, they put out this encyclopedia-sized thing called the "English Curriculum Standards for Regular High Schools." It was jam-packed with vocabulary words, grammar rules, you name it! High schoolers everywhere were like, "Oh no, not another library's worth of stuff to cram into our brains!"But wait, it gets better! Those clever folks decided the book needed an update in 2020. Why? Well, languages are constantly changing and evolving. New words pop up all the time, while some old ones fall out of fashion. It's just how things work in the world of vocab! So they added a whole bunch of new terms to the already overflowing book of words. I'm talking fresh, hip, modern lingothat'll make saying things so much cooler! Who wouldn't want to expand their English repertoire, am I right? Now, I obviously can't just spill all the juicy new additions right here. A magician never reveals his secrets, and athird-grader certainly can't leak classified high school intel! But I can give you a little taste of the awesomeness awaiting those studious high schoolers. How about "binge-watch"? Doesn't that sound like the perfect word for when you plop down on the couch and watch an entire season of your favorite show in one sitting? Ah, the life of a couch potato!Or what about "live-stream"? That's a nifty term for when you broadcast yourself doing something live over the internet. Perfect for those YouTuber types or eSports champs! There are so many other fresh, hip, rad words that I'm practically bursting at the seams! "Vlog," "ransomware," "cryptocurrency" – it's an endless parade of linguistic coolness! Can you imagine having to learn all that? I get tired just thinking about it! I'll stick to my simplistic third-grade vocabulary for now, thank you very much. But who knows, maybe in a few years, I'll be the one delving into that big ol' book of English knowledge. By then, it'll probably be twice as thick and full of even more unbelievably awesome words! A kid can dream, right?Until then, I'll be eagerly awaiting the high schoolers' reactions to their newly expanded lexicon. I can hear the groans of dread already! Just remember, friends – every new word is a gift, an opportunity to express yourself in delightfully novel ways.So embrace the lingo, high schoolers! Bask in the glow of linguistic enlightenment! And if you ever need a vocabulary coach, you know where to find me – around the corner and through the second door on the left, right past the jungle gym!。
