由于在第三册学生已经用过can和can’t来谈论能力。
所以可以不把此知识点作为新授内容，而应通过对几个新的形容词的学习进一步巩固对can 和can’t的运用，提高学生对语言的综合运用能力。
本模版第一单元的话题引到学生谈论动物和人类的关系，动物对人类的帮助等等，增加学生对动物的保护意识。
二、学情分析通过第二册和本册module6的学习，学生已经掌握了用can和can’t来谈论能力。
因此，在本模版中，学生通过对几个新形容词的学习，进一步巩固对can和can’t的运用，提高语言的综合运用能力。
同时复习第三人称单数后动词的变化。
此外，通过hotdog来了解西方的饮食文化。
从而了解中西文化差异。
五年级学生的心理和生理发展进一步成熟，单纯的跳唱太过幼稚，他们的兴趣注意点已由方式逐步转向内容，有信息差的产生才能促使他们对未知事物的主动探求，所以教学活动设计要尽量与生活实际相结合，有梯度，听说读写并重，这样才能促进学生合理处理和熟用信息，用英语与他人交流，发展学生用英语解决问题的实际能力。
三、教学目标（1）知识目标能正确地理解并运用本单元学习的四个词汇：blind,deaf，hear，her能够基本正确地在语境中理解听懂，认识词汇：alot,useful,show,fire,hotdog,presenter,firefighter, sausage.能够熟练运用can,can’t谈论能力和提提出请求运用Thismanisblind/deaf等句子描述人或物的特征运用canwe/I.......?向他人提出请求能够理解故事，全体学生会读，部分会复述。

于是我不断实验、反思、总结，想尽一切办法，牢牢地抓住我们的课堂45分钟，帮助我们的孩子品尝英语学习中成功的滋味。
一、背景我是一名普通的农村英语教师，通过十几年的教学，我清楚地知道农村英语教学的现状，其中最典型的就是所谓的“哑巴英语”。
因此针对此特点，并经过精心的设计与安排，我在今年上半年上了一堂七年级Module7Unit1的实验课。
二、教材依据外研版七年级下册Module7 My past life Unit1 I was born in a small village.三、设计思想本课为七年级下册第七模块，以My past life为中心话题，展开各种学习活动。
其第一单元为听说课，谈论的是与学生密切相连的学习生活问题，这能够很好地激发学生的学习兴趣和参与意识，开展各类听、说、读、写活动，从而培养学生的语言技能和情感态度。
四、教学目标根据课标及第七模块内容，我将本节课教学目标细划为以下五个方面：语言目标、能力目标、情感和态度目标、策略目标、文化意识目标。
语言目标：（1）新词汇。
（2）初步了解一般现在过去时的用法。
能力目标：能读懂有关他人过去日常生活的文章，并能够流畅地谈论自己的过去生活。
情感和态度目标：了解他人过去生活的些许信息，拉近彼此之间的距离。
策略目标：学习与他人合作交流获取的相关信息。
文化意识目标：学习并了解西方文化。
五、教学重点与难点教学重点：学习本课的重点词汇与句型。
教学难点：初步了解一般现在过去时的用法。
六、教学准备多媒体辅助：用Powerpoint课件、教学光盘、电子白板等手段将本课所需要的动画、录音、图片、文字、图表和音乐展现出来，使抽象的语言变得直观，为学生运用英语进行交际创设情境，实现师生互动、生生互动和人机互动的多向交流。
