教材分析
本节课是高中英语第一册Welcome Unit的阅读和思考部分,这个单元是刚刚步入高中阶段的开始,所以是初高中的过渡,让学生逐渐适应高中阶段的节奏和生活,对比初中来找寻不同之处,从而尽快适应新的生活。
从阅读意识的培养上,让学生了解叙事体裁需要一定的顺序,让文章更有层次感。
最后,在读的过程中了解一些必须掌握的词汇。
教学目标与核心素养
语言能力目标
新课标对于高考语篇意识非常重视,其中的叙事类型学生并不陌生,只是没有从宏观把握的习惯,这节课内容虽然很简单,但是可以借此培养他们对叙事顺序的思考,帮助他们具有一定的语言意识和英语语感,在常见的具体语境中整合性的运用已有的语言知识。
思维品质目标:
通过对比主人公的高中生活和自己的高中生活来寻找相同点和不同点,建立高中学习目标,树立远大理想并正确评价各种思想观点。
同时通过对文章信息的重新整合,做到创造性地表达自己的观点,具备初步运用英语进行独立思考的能力。
教学重难点
1.重点
(1)通过skimming 的方式快速找出文章的叙述顺序;
(2)学会用已知的内容去解决未知的问题,用已经了解的词汇去学习新的词汇;
2. 难点
(1)可以分辨叙述顺序,并可以换一种顺序来叙述;
(2)学会寻找一段中的关键词来重复故事。

Unit 1 A New StartPeriod 1 Starting Out & Understanding Ideas教学设计本节课是高中英语第一册Unit 1 A New Start的引入和阅读部分,这个单元是刚刚步入高中阶段的开始,所以是初高中的过渡,要让学生逐渐适应高中阶段的节奏和生活。
在start out(引入)部分,通过引导学生去谈论自己第一天在校园中的感受,经历以及对新校园的印象,来消除学生的陌生感。
在understanding ideas(阅读)部分,需要培养学生的预测能力,总结概括文章主旨大意的能力和寻找细节能力。
后两个能力是高考考查的重点,因此要引起重视。
1.语言能力目标本课时对于学生语言能力的要求主要在于:1)能够组织语言简单描述自己的感受和观点;2)能够通过阅读文章,快速获取细节信息,整合文本并对文章主旨大意进行概括。
2.思维品质目标:通过谈论自己高中第一天的经历和学习孟浩的经历,培养起对新学校的认同感,对新生活的期待感,树立良好的自信心。

因此在本课时的教学中,我主要以创设情景,让学生在情景中进行交际的教学方法。
形式是从师生问答到生生问答,从pair work 到group work。
教学内容是以旧知带新知,由易到难,并在其中做一些提升。
最后设计分层作业,让不同水平的学生都得以发展。
当然,在本课教学中,我也发现了一些不尽人意之处,有待在今后教学中进一步地调整与改进。
如:整堂课,由于我过多地注重了利用语言情景的创设、语言训练多样化、培养学生的听、说、读的能力,而忽视了对学生学习习惯的培养。
内容提升的过程中,教室对于内容的处理也不是很连贯,还有待于在今后的教学过程中不断的改进及完善。

看图编故事
建议:1 根据P33的4副图片, 将学生分成四组,每一组负责编一幅图片的情景对话。
2. 在充分展示对话后, 从每一组选出一对学生, 在集体面前将图1 至图4的内容连续展开,
发生在不同家门口的故事就此形成。
目的:培养学生的想象力,根据图中的人物情景, 将学过的句子运用于故事中, 鼓励学生用适
当的语音、语调进行表演。

建议:教师通过夸张的形体动作, 让学生理解Open your book. Close your book的意义和区
别, 从而听懂Open your book. Close your book的意思并做出相应的反应。结合Simon says 的
游戏寓教于乐。
目的:注重听力培养, 训练学生最基本的课堂用语。

练习。 本课时主要完成Sports Club 和Disneyland的学习任务, 学习数字和有关的动词短语。
如:Pick up sticks. Lay them straight. 同时复习第六单元的Sports Club 和Disneyland
的内容。

接着Simon says 的游戏, 教师突然发出Pick up sticks 的指令, 学生中一定有相当一部分
人不知所措。 教师重复并做出相应的动作, 加入适量中文解释, 让学生理解这句话的意义。
目的:
在熟悉的句子中突然加入了听不懂的句子, 形成强烈反差, 是引起学生注意的有效办法之一。
Talk 3
用相同的方法学习Lay them straight.
建议:
根据学生游戏情况, 用英语数一数获胜的学生,可以从1~20甚至更多。
目的:
通过这一活动,学生在游戏中学习数数和新句子, 加深对英语句子的理解。

建议:
将第六单元的儿歌与第七单元的儿歌连起来, 形成一首完整的儿歌。
1.先有节奏地朗诵第六单元的儿歌,并配上相应的动作
2.将本单元的儿歌接上去, 注意速度不要太快。
目的:
培养学生有节奏地朗诵儿歌的能力。

自编儿歌
建议:
启发学生用学过的句子, 模仿原来的儿歌进行再创造。
如:One, two,
Wave your hands.
Three, four,
Nod your head,…
目的:培养学生的创造能力。

儿歌学习是小学生喜闻乐见的形式,儿歌中充满节奏和韵味, 读来朗朗上口。 但是,
仅仅停留在儿歌的教学上是不够的,要充分发挥学生的创造能力, 把原来课文中的一首
儿歌变成多首儿歌, 让学生体验学习英语的快乐
