虽然写作考验的是内功，需要提前长期积累沉淀，但对于应试作文这个事件来说，则可以做到短时期内的“速成”。
这是因在考试语境下，其作文结构框架和内容的可预见性，于是快速搭建起一个满足考试要求的段落结构并填塞相应内容，不仅是我们要去做的，而且是可以实现的。
文章的段落结构：对于四级作文来说，固定为三段。
三段可以根据提纲而行事，即每段基本上是对提纲的回答，并在段与段间添加适当的承接词，即可形成一篇三段文。
也可以对提纲稍作调整，形成一套新的三段结构，但要保证提纲所示内容要在文章中出现。
例如：2006年12月的四级作文真题。
提纲如下：1. 很多人认为春晚没必要。
2. 另一些人观点相反。
3. 我的观点是…….。
该道题是典型的“正反对比”题，在涉及结构时，可以写成问题回答式，即三段分别是对每一个提纲的回复。
也可以稍作调整，比如：把提纲1，2整合成为一段用来介绍别人的观点(包括正方和反方)；而我的观点又作为单独一段，那么还差一段，则自行添加一开篇段即可，该开篇段用来介绍问题的提出，想来也合理。
如此调整，文章就成为如下样式：
1、开篇段：话题的提出。
2、别人观点段：正方观点和反方观点。
3、我的观点段：由于该排篇布局具有稳定性，不妨固定下来，作为对正反对比题解决
的一种固定套路
