I braced myself for some resistance to the idea from my father, who wanted me to go to law school, and follow his path through life.However, he supported what I wanted but he made me think about it by watching the crabs。
The cage was full of crabs. One of them was trying to escape, but each time it reached the top the other crabs pulled it back In the end it gave up lengthy struggle to escape and started to prevent other crabs from escaping. ? Deathwatch (1972), which won an Edgar Award, has come to be considered a classic survival novel. In this story, a college student, Ben, agrees to guide a hunter but becomes the hunted when an old man is killed and Ben wants to report the death. White, a prolific and versatile author, also wrote screenplays for film and television and articles for the navy's publications and magazines.

? Robb White (1909 –1990), American writer. His best- known works include young adult novels of suspense and adventure in which the action is driven by a hero. White, the son of Protestant missionaries, was born in the Philippine Islands. He earned a BS from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1931 but then resigned and worked at various civilian jobs—writer, book clerk, draftsman, construction engineer, and deckhand on a sailboat. During World War II, he served as an ensign in the navy; later, he was recalled for duty in 1947 –1948, serving as a captain in aviation administration and public information.
