跟上兔子学英语走进童心看世界作者:周婷婷来源:《校园英语·下旬》2018年第02期绘本(Picture Book),画出来的书,是指一类以绘画为主,并附有少量文字的书籍。

绘本是发达国家家庭首选的儿童读物,国际公认“绘本是最适合幼儿阅读的图书”。

绘本阅读,能吸引小学生的眼球和注意力,激发是的阅读兴趣,利于学生在保持高涨的阅读激情和兴趣主动融入素材中,丰富认知感悟,体验阅读快乐。

《跟上兔子》系列绘本,能在附着大量色彩鲜艳的图画基础上给学生更多的自我阅读感知的机会,利于其深化理解感知,笔者在平时的教学实践中可谓深有感触,在此略谈点滴体会,与同行分享。

一、情境引领:深入其中活化绘本资源,便于学生在栩栩如生的环境中发现新鲜和有趣素材,引导他们能深入其中灵活运用。

绘本作为图画书,里面蕴含的跳跃思维与潜台词更是美不胜收,让小学生爱不释手,一些具有细节性的内容更是吸引学生去积极揣摩。

创设相似情境,利于学生主动融入绘本阅读中。

如,在指导学生阅读《little zoe looking for mum》时,不妨运用折纸的形式折出千纸鹤的形状,并鼓励学生思考:Can you guess what is it?通过这样的展示,调动学生好奇心。

结合这样的情境,不妨请学生自带道具,扮演自己喜欢的小动物,像,Monkey、tiger、horse等,可引导他们针对“Which animal do you like best?”主动提出自己的意见和观点。

在这样的情境引导下,可建议学生思考:Who does little zoe look for?Do you know where is little zoe’s mum?并建议学生运用捉迷藏的形式来给zoe提出相关的建议,让绘本阅读在富有开放性情境中获得丰富表达内涵。

围绕绘本阅读学习内容,多给学生提供相关的素材,帮助他们在活泼的语言环境中带着好奇主动研读。

鼓励学生积极参与互动,引导他们结合各自的理解感知主动梳理相关知识体系,帮助他们丰富认知思维情感。

在小学英语教学过程中,通过阅读文字灵活的变化形式,可以激发学生的学习意识,调动其阅读积极性。

基于此,本文以绘本《跟上兔子》为例,对小学英语绘本阅读教学进行研究,以此培养小学生的英语综合素养,提升小学英语教学质量。

前言绘本是以文字与图片融合的方式讲述故事,并具有特定的主题与情感。

在小学英语绘本中,《跟上兔子》就将图片和文字进行有效结合,既能够调动起学生的学习兴趣,又能够满足其阅读需求。

通过英语绘本进行小学英语教学,能够为学生创造出具有趣味性及实践性的情境,从而提升其学习的积极主动性。

一、设置问题,整体阅读在进行小学英语绘本阅读教学时,教师要先让学生对绘本封面进行观察,按照绘本封面的文字与图片猜测出故事讲述的大概内容,又或是根据绘本封面所反映出的主题,为学生设置一些问题,让学生根据问题进行阅读,教师还要帮助学生理清故事的脉络,从而突出其阅读重点。

比如:在学习绘本《跟上兔子》中“Can I play with you?”时,教师可以让学生充分发挥自己的想象力,根据封面图片中Little elephant与其他小动物,猜一猜是哪两个动物想要一起玩,通过此种方式能够有效激发学生的绘本阅读兴趣。

与此同时,为了更好的进行课程导入,教师可以使用英语阅读卡进行提问。

英语阅读卡中包含了日期、标题、故事的主要人物、谁提出的和我一起玩、故事的结局是怎样的等问题,以此在帮助学生理清思路的同时,使其能够更好的进行整体阅读。

使学生在阅读资料卡的过程中对故事予以合理的想象与预测,这不仅能够为学生提供一定的阅读技巧,同时还可以增强其英语阅读能力及写作能力。

二、结合语境,理解内涵在完成课程导入后,教师可以先带领学生进行快速阅读,了解故事的大概情节发展,然后再放缓速度进行认真、仔细的阅读,要让学生细心地观察每幅插图所包含的信息,对猜测进行确定。

在传统教学模式下,教师比较注重语言形式的教学,而忽略对整体语境的把握。

真正有效的绘本阅读教学不仅能给学生带来语言知识,提高阅读能力,更重要的是能给学生带来阅读的体验,感受阅读的乐趣。
