1、The composition, principles and technical process:

This strip dryer dries the wet surface of strips which have just been pickled and rinsed to prevent corrosion.

1.1Composition

This dryer is composed of three systems: fan pre-blow section、cycle heating section and steam adjustment section.

1.1.1 Fan pre-blow section

The fan pre-blow section includes two units, pre-blow unit and centrifugal fan unit.

(1)The pre-blow unit is composed of the enclosure and the nozzles.

The pickled steel sheet enters the blow-clean program of pre-blow unit before it comes into the enclosure of the dryer, in order to

remove the clutters and water mass of the steel surface by blowing compressed air from the upper and the bottom directions of the

steel surface. It is not only to avoid scratching the support rolls but also to improve the drying effect.

(2)Centrifugal fan unit is composed of centrifugal fans, motors,

throttle assembly ,and other components, which is an important

part of the Fan pre-blow section. It provides power for the fan pre-blow section and adjust the entering air volume of the centrifugal

fan through the throttle.

1.1.2 Cycle heating section

This section includes ventilation filter unit, heat exchanger unit, and enclosures unit.

2.1 Ventilation filter unit

The ventilation filter unit consists of two parts, filter assembly and centrifugal fan assembly.

(1) The filter assembly contains the muffler and the wind pipe. It

mainly filters the airflow entering the centrifugal fan and reduces

the noise.

(2) The centrifugal system consists of centrifugal fan, motor, throttle

assembly, which is an important part of the dryer. It supplies power for the dryer and adjust the entering air volume of the centrifugal

fan through the throttle.

2.2 Heat exchanger unit

The heat exchanger unit is composed of a heat exchanger, the pedestal, which is an import part of the dryer. It supplies the hot power for the airflow of the dryer by heat exchanging according to a desired temperature.

2.3 Enclosures unit

This unit is the key part of the dryer. In the enclosures, it sprays the high gas stream through the nozzle to the steel plate surface so as to complete drying it.

1.1.3 Steam adjustment section

The steam adjustment section is composed of the pneumatic adjustment valves (4-20mA), shut-off valves, and steam traps.
