Good morning,ladies and gentalmen.It’s my great honor to speak here.The
topic of my speech is “Be a happy teacher.”
It has been my dream all the time that I can be a teacher.Four years ago,I
first came to my school as a real teacher.I feel so good and fine to stay with so
many lovely students.I don’t think I can express how I love my students in a few
words.I just know they are the future of China.There is always a question in my
mind:What should I do with them?
Before answering this question,I’d like to share a true story with you.The
story dated back to a cold winter when I was an English teacher of
Class1,Grade7.In my class,I found a little girl who couldn’t pay attention to my
class.I concerned about her from the bottom of my heart.So I chose to get to
know her instead of blaming her.After the class,I wrote a letter to her.In the
letter,I asked what trouble she was facing.Then,she came to my office .I gave
her a big hug and tapped on her back slightly.Then I saw her tears on my
shoulder.I let her sit next to me and I held her hands in mine.We started to talk as
