Usually I will go out to visit some fun spots with my parents, or hang out with my friends, or play sports. Whatever I do, I try to relax myself. Do you think holidays are important to our lives? (Absolutely!Holidays are like … when we can get away from our daily grind and have some “time out”,you know… when we check out fun spots, hang out with friends and play sports without having to constantly worry about getting our work done. They are just so cool…) ☆What‘re your favorite leisure activities? Well, my leisure activity is reading electronic newspapers via internet. Through reading the news, I can get access to up-to- date information about my hometown. It has become an indispensable part of my daily life. Reading the electronic newspaper is also a good way to relax from work. ☆ What did you do on last weekend? Last weekend, I went to UTS library to prepare for IELTS test with my friends. It was effective to practice spoken English with a partner so that he can pick up my grammar mistakes or pronunciation problem. We also had a big dinner in the evening in China town. Do you like going to a party? Basically, I am not a party animal. I prefer to stay at home rather than go out for socializing. I know somehow partying provides people with a good platform to socialize with those from different social and cultural background. But if the party is an important one, for example, my best friend birthday party or annual parties from work, I am happy to attend. ☆Do you like family parties or parties thrown by friends? Well, I do like friend parties more than family parties. You know, there is a obvious generation gap between parents and children. Although we both care

Tell the interview how best to travel I think the best way to travel really depends on the kind of person you are, so it's a bit tough to tell you one best way. This is the way I think you'll gain the most out of China. The best time to go is definitely not during Spring Festival. Now, I know a lot of you foreigners would like to see how China is during this time, but I think you're crazy to travel here during any of the holiday periods. Remember, there're a billion people here, and when even a tiny percentage of us decide to travel, that can still mean thousands of tourists at any given place you come across. If I had to recommend a time, I would probably say fall or spring during non-holiday times. You can probably get some more discounts on your domestic flights and your hotels.

I probably use the bus about 10 or more times in a week. I use it not just to go back and forth to work but also to go shopping. I have a monthly pass and so I can travel freely on one without having to pay each time I go on. I also use a bus when I want to go traveling from one place to another for distances that do not last fur more than a day. I do have a bicycle, but I use that only for very" short distance" things, like getting some vegetables at the local grocery store or things like that. I prefer taking the bus. I always feel safe taking a bus because it is a big vehicle and it moves more slowly than a taxi. It is quite convenient, since there are enough lines. Even though it is not as convenient as a car, it allows you to work while you are traveling. It is relatively cheap

A Handicraft Q. A Handicraft (something made by hand) You should say: What it is? What it looks like? How to make it? And explain what other people thought of it. When talking about handicrafts, I’d like to share with you my experience of making paper-cut. Paper-cut is a traditional folk art in China and it’s been very popular in some ruralareas. It is paper cut into different shapes and patterns and then pasted on windows as decorations on festive occasions, such as the Spring Festival or a Wedding ceremony. I first learned to make paper- cut in primary school when making paper-cut was part of the extracurricularactivities. The process isn’t very complicated and doesn’t take long. Well, you need a piece of red-coloured paper, a pair of scissors and a pencil. Second, draw a certain pattern or write down some Chinese characters, such as “XI, OR FU ”that represent the auspiciousnessin our culture on the folded paper. Then use the scissors to cut the paper according to the pattern. When you open it up.Ta-da, you will find out a very beautiful pattern in the centre is right in front of your eyes. Finally , paste the pattern of “FU or XI” to the front-door upside down, which means the fortuneand bliss are coming. It is a very good practice for creativityand hands-on skills.

而journey 这个词,应用范围很广, 指“有预定地点的陆上、水上或空中的单程长、短途旅行”, 一般来说, 它着重指“长距离的陆上的旅行”, 来看看它的英文释译:(distance covered in) travelling, usually by land, from one place to another, often far away。 Tom decided to make a journey to Amsterdam by air. Life is a long long journey。 当然也可以用make a journey to 来表示到某地儿旅行。 Tom made a trip to the summer palace yesterday. They planned to make a wedding trip to Paris. 在来看看tour,同时它也可以用作“以游览、视察、购物等为目的的旅行”(eg:My father has gone downtown on a shopping tour)常常含有“最后回到原出发点”的意思, 如:Tom is going to make a round-the-world tour. I will tour the world in the future. I got seasick during the voyage. She went on excursion to the West Lake.
