Things that seem easy have a way of turning out to be difficult. One day, a guest wanted the videotape of a program he had seen on television the night before, but the guest didn’t know which channel or what program—only the topic. First we had sort through the 50 channels to figure out which channel it could have been distributed on. It turned out to be the public-access channel. Then we had to track down the producer, who was out of town. Eventually we located the producer, who had the only of the tape in existence, and we were able to make a copy for the guest.
