学校寓言故事有个艺术家，突然心血来潮，喜爱上了橡皮泥。
有一天，他弄来一大堆橡皮泥，开始捏起来。
他捏了个小人，这小人胖乎乎的，圆眼睛、翘胡子，一副高傲样儿。
艺术家把他放在手心里，端详了好一会儿，笑了，又给他加上一顶王冠，让他穿件王袍，说：“好，这下子就像个橡皮泥国王了！”艺术家还想捏下去，可这时电话铃响了，有人要他到外地去，雕塑一件大型艺术品。
于是，艺术家就匆忙促忙地离开家。

他转动着脑袋，举起手，抬起腿，走了起来。

橡皮泥国王心想，凑合着再捏一个人吧。
他一边捏一边想：唉，这人怎么这样瘦，脸上皱巴巴的，嘿，干脆把他捏成个老头！不一会儿，一个老爷爷弯着腰，驼着背，活了过来。
只剩下一块白橡皮泥了，橡皮泥国王把他捏成个小孩。
这小孩个儿特别小，从头到脚都是白颜色。

讲完之后，他就来问这位老人：“先生！你看我的讲章如何？”老人回答：“顶没有意味。
”青年不服的说：“没有意味？我费了多少日子的工夫，才预备好的。
”“啊！那就不足怪了！”青年又问：“你说他没有意味，是不是因为圣经题目讲的不对？”“讲得很对。
”“那你为何说他没有意味？是我用的比喻不适当么？”“很适当。
”青年人忍不住了，再问：“那么你说没有意味，到底是什么意思呢？”老人答道：“因为里头没有基督。
”青年人说道：“这题目里本来就没有基督，我们不能总讲基督，题目是什么，就当讲什么。
”老人答道：“弟兄！你不知道全英国每一座城，每一个乡村，都有一条路通到伦敦么？”青年道：“是！”老人道：“圣经中无论哪一个题目，都有一条大道，引到对经的中心，就是基督身上。
我传道几十年，没有遇见一个题目，不能引到基督身上的。
”圣经是给基督作见证；读圣经应该读出基督，不该只读一些教训、道理。
3、空白圣经罗杰是英国著名的传道人。
他说：一天我在家中，打开圣经一看，全是空白的纸，文字一点也没有。
我很希奇，就去邻居那里，看看他们的圣经，也是空白的。
当时基督徒大乱，因为世界所有的圣经全都变成空白。
神将他赐给人的话收回去了。
各处寻求熟悉圣经的人，请他们将所记的的写出来，凑齐也不够数。
信徒大都懊悔平时没有详细查读，有的甚至哭泣。
信徒们就恳切求神，仍将他的话赐给人。
当我心中最难受时，忽然醒来，原是一梦。
晨光由玻璃窗射进屋内，看见圣经摆在桌上，急忙下去，打开一看，只见一字不缺，我就流泪感恩，虔诚读他。
4、千万不可拿走圣经罗杰每天讲道，听者极众。
一日，讲人忽略圣经。
说时好似替神对人说：“我把圣经交托你们好久，你们轻看他，甚至上面满了尘土，结了蜘蛛网。
你们就是如此看待我的圣经么？好，我不再把他留给你们。
”说完，他就拿起圣经要走的样子。
立刻他又替人回答主，跪下哀哭，流泪求道：“主啊！你无论向我们作什么都可以，千万不可把圣经拿走；杀我们的子孙，烧我们的房子，毁我们的财物，都可以；只求你把圣经给我们留下。
”然后，他又仿佛替神对人说：“既然如此，那我再试你们一些日子，给你们这本圣经，看看你们到底怎样用他，是否爱更爱他，注意他，按照他的话去行？”这样，听众多半都哭起来。
讲完之出门，看见顾温博士伏在马头之上，哭泣了半天，方才上马回家。
5、藏在心里不能夺去某城一回教女子，一次听见福音，被主遇见，她就得救了。
后来有一基督徒送她一本新旧约全书。
她以圣经为圣宝，就用一个盒子藏在她的衣箱里，常常取出，单独在房子里一段一段的细读。
一天，一个基督徒知道这事，就问她为什么这样的用功？她说，我的亲属一知道我有基督教的圣经，就必拿去；但我要把经言读熟，藏在心里，他们就不能夺去了。
歌罗西书3：16：“当用各样的智慧，把基督的道理，丰丰富富的存在心里......”，以备不时供应人的需要。
6、佩带圣经在英国伯明汉，一位女学生，在布道会里受感接受救主。
得救之后，她就立志去救别人。
后来升入大学，常对同学讲论主耶稣。
一次，她和同学谈道，要引圣经证明耶稣的话。
那时她的身边未带圣经，就走上楼去取。
及至下楼，同学已经走了。
她很懊悔失去大好机会，从那天起，她把圣经藏在衣袋里里，以备不时之需。
继则一位一位仿效，人人佩带圣经，佩带圣经会因而产生。
信徒不仅需要常带圣经，更要将神的话丰丰富富藏在心里，以备不时供应人的需要。
7、沾光走路一位弟兄住在四川，那时交通不便，常走石板路的羊肠小径。
如果是在白天，走路是没有问题的；若在夜间又下雨，走这样的路，真是非有亮光不可，有时甚至烧一把香的亮光也是宝贵的。
有一次，这位弟兄就在这样的一个晚上走路。
那时他的住处是在山顶，手里没有电筒，也没有火把，连一把香火也没有。
在黑黝黝的夜里，下着毛毛细雨，路上满了烂泥和小洼子，他又戴着一副不合度数，近视而又散光的眼镜，摸索前进，真是步步艰难。
正在这时，忽然看见后面一个人拿着电筒，他就停下来，让那人先行，这样便可沾他一点光。
可是走不到几步，那人转入另一条小路上去了，叫他只好“望火兴叹”！不久，又有另一位拿着手电筒赶上了他。
他拼命紧追在那人的后面，希望赶快结束这次可怕而又艰苦的行路。
但亮光毕竟不在自己手中；所以行不到半里路，已被那人远远抛在后面了！这样沾了好几个人的光，直到深夜，方才回到住处。
全已弄得满身泥浆，疲乏不堪了！那一次他深深尝到没有光行路的痛苦！圣经说：“黑夜已深，白昼将近。
”信徒也是在黑夜赶路，必须自己要有亮光。
可惜今日许多信徒，不会直接跟从神！弟兄姊妹们，只有神的话是我们脚前的灯，路上的光，必须殷勤虔读他的话语！“你的话是我脚前的灯，路上的光。
”（诗119：105）8、从未打开看过纽哲西有一老人由圣经中找出五千美金的钞票。
在一八七四年他姑母遗留给他的遗嘱上说：“我亲爱的侄儿马可司提反，我将我家中的圣经并其中所有的给你，我其余的产业可以变卖，还我当还的债，料理我的后事，胜下的也归你享用。
”他所得余下的产业不过几百元，不久就用完，以后过了三十五年贫苦的日子。
圣经是皮面包的，外有铜钮扣着。
后来实在不能生活下去想要迁到他的儿子家里去住。
要将圣经装箱的时候，打开圣经一看，方才发现这个宝藏。
那时他的心中后悔，无法言喻。
三十五年空空过去，若是早发现，运用这笔款项，到了现在不知会有多大的富足；放在银行里生息，也可得到五万美金。
许多信徒所以贫穷，虚度年日，就是因为不读圣经，没有发现其中的宝藏。
9、老爷我要圣经有一老基督徒，在他八十大寿之时，要送一些礼物给他佣人。
晚上老人就把佣人都叫了来，手里拿着一本皮面金边极其好看的圣经，问厨子道：“我这里有一本圣经，这里又有二十块钱，随你们的便，要哪一样。
”厨子道：“东家，我不大认识字；我要钱罢。
”于是老人给他二十块钱，又问老妈子道：“张妈，你认识字，给你圣经吧。
”张妈道：“老爷，我终日忙碌，没有工夫念他，还是请你给我钱吧。
”末了问到一个扫地送信的小孩子说：“给你二十块钱，拿回家去，叫你妈妈为你作一件新袍子吧！”小孩子道：“老爷，我要圣经。
”老人惊讶的说道：“你也不识字，你要圣经作什么？”小孩子道：“我的母亲天天念圣经给我听。
她的圣经已很破旧；我总想有了钱，买一本好的送给好。
现在这本好看的圣经，要是送给她，比二十块钱，她更欢喜得多呢！”老人道：“我的孩子，愿神祝福你！”说着就将圣经递给他。
小孩子打开一看，内中还有百元钞票一张。
别人一看，皆是目瞪口呆，都后悔得很。
许多信徒不喜欢圣经，不知漏掉多少祝福；若你爱慕他，读他，必从其中得着无限的丰富。
“你口中的训言，与我有益，胜于千万的金银。
”（诗篇一一九：七二）10、又是一次欢聚德国有一著名的大学教授，名叫本析格尔，学问渊博，生活深为全校学生所钦佩。
有几个好奇的学生，很想探听他所以有这样的生活的秘诀；其中有一学生就去隐匿教授书室之中，看他每天晚上看些什么。
教授走进书室，为时已迟，似很疲累，但他坐了下来，打开圣经，十分虔诚，读了一个钟头，然后低头默祷。
祷告后合起圣经说道：“主耶稣！我们又是一次欢聚！”借着读经与主欢聚，吸取生命的供应，活出他的见证。
11、他要读你某日傍晚，宣教士富兰克林，接见一位访客。
访客对他说道：“对河有一个人，极需属灵的帮助，先生能否抽暇前往？”富氏正因经过一天工作，觉得疲乏，回答他说：“你可以替我送一本圣经给这人么？”访客正色道：“不，先生。
现在不是送他圣经的时候。
圣经是你的读物；感谢神，也是我的读物。
但是这个人还不需要读经，他要读你！”访客去后，富氏一夜不能入睡。
“......他要读你”的话，一直萦绕在他耳边。
天还未亮，他就渡河过去了。
基督徒是广大人群所读的“圣经”，人人要来读你。
12、点高梁杆山东平度县，原先只有几位信徒，一位姓侯家道小康，有儿女，也有田地；另有一位性李，家境清寒，常替侯家作工，然而得救喜乐，内里外面，夜以继日充溢着他。
因此就常有人对他说：“你看，侯某某信主这样富有，你也信主，却是什么都没有。
”他很安详喜乐的回答说：“我有，我有，我有的是在里面，也在天上。
”他很爱主，渴慕宝贵的圣经，注神阅读，津津有味。
就是夜晚，也是这样爱慕诵读神的话语。
因为家贫，太太不愿他点灯耗油，他就点高梁杆的一端，帖近圣经，照明字句，边吹边读。
读经在他是一很大的享受。
13、一遍又一遍路德马丁常说：“要明白神的话，非亲自经验不可。
圣经不只叫人记得，懂得，乃是要人生活觉得。
”又说：“我年轻的时候，将圣经读过一遍又一遍，以至十分熟悉。
只要你一题某一节，我立时就知道是在何处。
我是先熟悉圣经的内容，然后才把注释丢开；因为其中（注释中，是罗马天主教的注释）有许多是使我良心不能赞同的，有的竟与圣经的本文相冲突。
亲眼看见，总比别人的眼睛看好些。
”慕安得烈在荷兰的乌屈契读书时，父亲曾在信中叮咛他说：“无论人介绍你看什么书，都不可忽略读圣经。
这件事必须每日去作，并且要用谦卑和许多的祷告来仰望圣灵的引导。
”14、戴德生的读经法戴德生牧师从年少的时候，就按次序有系统的读圣经。
他在六十八岁作见证说：他四十年之久，读过圣经从创世记到启示录四十遍，大约每天读约三章，新约一章，诗篇一篇。
有时因思想贯串，读得多些；有时因为多默想，读得少些。
每年总把圣经读一遍。
在他看来，读圣经不但养活灵性，而且作他生活工作的指导。
圣经于他，真是脚前的灯，路上的光。
他常说：“有一位活神，这位活神在圣经里说话，神说一句，就算一句，凡神应许的，无不成就。
活神仍然活着，圣经是活神所说的活话。
凡神所说的，是靠的住的。
”戴牧师生平习惯早起，守晨更。
无论在任何环境中，决不改常。
他说：“哪有先开音乐会，然后才调和乐器呢？每天读经，祈祷，先与神调和，然后再与人见面，办事。
”在戴牧师看来，研究圣经，在乎遵行圣经的话；所以他解经讲道，都注重实行这一方面。
正是因为他实行他自己所知道的，顺服圣经的命令，应许，所以他能明白圣经的深奥。
知道即行，越行越知道。
如经上所记，你既知道这事，若是去行就有福了。
15、“验”与“历”某传道人前往看望一位老年姊妹，见她在虔诚读圣经，圣经旁边或写一个“验”字，或写一个“历”字。
