DutyReport助我教学成功一、Duty Report的提出新课标要求我们“能就日常生活的各种话题与他人交换信息并陈述自己的意见。

能与他人合作,解决问题并报告结果,共同完成学习任务。

” 要真正体现英语学习的最终目的,就要体现英语的交际功能。

所以教师必须为学生提供自主学习和相互交流的机会以及充分表现和自我发展的空间;鼓励学生通过体验、实践、讨论、合作、探究等方式,发展听、说、读、写的综合语言技能;创造条件让学生能够探究他们自己感兴趣的问题并自主解决问题。

如何更好地实现新课标的指导思想,是摆在我们广大教师面前的亟待解决的课题。

我为了取得教学的良好效果,在教学改革上狠下功夫,向课堂45分钟发起冲击,采取了一系列的课改措施,如:多媒体进入课堂,使学生更加直观,形象地接受知识,使内容更加生动,充满活力。

自制课件复习,既能扩大复习容量,又能更好地强化重难点,使学生融会贯通。

课前的值日报告更是让我的课堂增添光彩,学生学得轻松,教师教得省力。

通过几年的教学实践,结出了丰硕的果实。

在多年的中考中,我所带的英语成绩在大同市排名前两名。

由此看出,我在日常教学过程中采用的课前5分钟的“Duty Report”, 真正体现了新课标的新思想,从而收到了极好的效果。

二、Duty Report 的实施过程这一活动是以“任务型”的教学模式为依据,以培养学生综合语言运用能力为宗旨;活动有明确的目的性,以学生的生活经验和兴趣为出发点,以所学课本话题为内容,充分发挥学生的思维和想象力,促使学生获取、处理和使用信息,用英语与他人交流,发展用英语解决实际问题的能力。

我们的值日报告是这样开展的。

首先以小组为单位,七至八人编为一组,学生自己设置情景,自编、自导、自演英语短剧。

各组选两位学习组长,他们带领全组同学大胆设想,将前面所学的许多话题结合起来编成对话。

他们利用课余时间编排对话,互相交流。

对话中出现了问题共同探讨,共同解决。

在编写过程中,他们会有很多语法、句法或不符合交际语言等错误,老师会不厌其烦地帮助他们修改。

Duty Report:课前5分钟小创新作者:金学青来源:《北京教育·普教版》2017年第03期《九年义务教育初中英语课程标准》对初中英语教学有这样的要求:“学生能尝试使用不同的教育资源,从口头和书面材料中提取信息,扩展知识,解决简单的问题并描述结果。

能在学习中互相帮助,克服困难。

”那么,如何发挥学生的主动性和积极性来使用不同的教育资源拓展知识、提高学生的口语表达能力?经过反复思考之后,我决定充分利用课前5分钟的时间开展“Duty Report”(即值日报告)活动。

“Duty Report”活动要求学生自己课下收集资料、准备一段话,在预备铃之后到正式上课这段时间,学生到讲台上进行3至5分钟朗读或背诵,这段英文内容可以自由选择。

朗读或背诵后,其他学生就报告的内容进行提问,最后学生或教师进行简单小结。

活动的开展需要注意以下的策略,保证活动的教育性效果。

丰富提问形式,拓展其内容。

“Duty Report”活动实践之初,问答环节是在学生做完汇报后,由下面的学生自由提问,这样的组织很松散,进行这一环节时常常出现冷场或乱场的现象,即对不感兴趣的话题大家都不愿提问,感兴趣的话题争相提问。

针对这一现象,我作了适当的调整和规范:要求汇报材料的生词不得超过5个,将原来的听者向汇报者的单向提问调整为双向的互动提问,汇报学生事先准备3到5个问题,如果听众提不出问题就由汇报学生给听众随机提问;听众提问也不能超过5个问题,最后一个问题由汇报学生在举手的学生中指定一个学生提问或自己提问。

这样的环节设计就很紧凑,时间上也得到了保证。

改革评价方式,实行师生共同参与的多元评价。

采用生评和师评相结合的方式更加客观,也使学生更容易接受。

细化评分标准,从语音、语调、内容、流利程度、表情及手势等方面给予评价。

“Duty Report”结束时,教师与学生分享体会、发表个人见解、提出思考问题和简单小结,对参与的学生予以鼓励。

此外,教师和学生一起评出每月最佳语言奖、最佳创意奖和最佳策划奖,学期结束时再从每月的获奖小组中评出最佳奖项并给予奖励。

浅谈英语课前的duty report活动过去人们对英语课堂教学的评价主要注重教师对大纲要求和教材内容的把握是否准确,重点是否突出,难点是否突破,教法运用是否适宜,学生掌握知识是否到位,教师的语言、教态和板书是否正确得体等。
