Introduction这部分通过四张图片来复习和学习与职业有关的描述性词汇,对部分职业进行简单的描述,为后面的主题作了一个热身运动。
Reading让学生学习了解当地居民Timoteo自愿无偿充当“路标”,为过往车辆提供信号,维护车辆安全通过最危险的路段,并由此延伸,培养学生乐于奉献的精神以及帮助学生树立正确的职业观。
Student Analysis高中二年级的学生已经在高一阶段的英语学习中积累了一定的词汇基础,并掌握了一些学习策略和技巧,具有一定的英语听说读写能力。

合作阅读是通过使学生参与合作的活动,培养阅读理解能力的技巧,也是一种较为有效的扩充词汇、促进学生间合作的教学手段,对于水平参差不齐的班级尤为有效。
因此,在教学组织上采用Pair work、Group work的形式,培养学生的合作意识和合作技能。
在本堂课中,小组共同完成单词释义、如何挑选合适的工作等开放性问题的讨论,激发学生的思维灵活性和多样性,集思广益,培养学生的发散性思维能力。
2. 采用任务型教学途径,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
在任务型教学中,教师要从学生“学”的角度创造性设计贴近学生实际的教学活动,吸引和组织他们积极参与。
因此,在本堂课的设计中充分考虑到学生不同的英语基础,问题和内容的设计注意坡度的合理性,由易到难,由简到繁,同时注意让学生时刻保持高度集中的注意力,并且能够主动参与分析、推理、归纳,主动寻找机会,进行语言训练,强调学生的主体性,以学生为中心。

本模块的主题是值得去做的职业,介绍了不同职业的特性及其对社会的贡
献通过写作部分练习写对“光盘行动”的认识和看法,通过听力了解面试时应
该准备的事项和通过Cultural Corner介绍了未来比较有发展前景几项工作。
要求同学们通过本课的学习培养正确的择业观,明白平凡的志愿者们所做的不
平凡的贡献。
一、教材内容分析
本模块从不同的职业开始,介绍了不同职业的特性及其对社会的贡献。
Introduction 部分以设计几幅关于职业的图片入手,激发学生的好奇心,
达到导入整个模块的效果。在这一部分中学习一些有关职业的形容词,让学生
会谈论人们为什么要工作和自己将来会选择什么工作,让学生明白工作的重要
性,培养对工作的热爱。
Vocabulary and Reading介绍了一名叫做Timoteo Apaza 的志愿者在一个
极度危险的转角处充当人体路标的事迹。通过学习,让学生明白平凡的志愿者
们所做的不平凡的贡献,培养学生正确的人生观、价值观和世界观。
Grammar部分主要是复习的还是动词时态的语法项目:Past simple, past
continuous and past perfect. 但是由于上一模块刘老师整体设计动词时态教
学,所以本模块的主要语法知识是名词性从句。
Vocabulary主要学习有关工作的一些单词和词组。
Listening and Speaking部分第一部分听一段面试中的对话,了解求职者
的信息。第二部分是两人活动了解面试时应该准备的事项,为学生以后找工作
做一定的准备。
Everyday English通过学习复习Listening and Speaking中的句子学会一
些非常有用的日常生活用语:nightmare, manage, take–home salary, roughly,
have a day off.
Function节选听力中的语句介绍情态动词加完成时对过去表示推断的功能
句。
Reading and Writing集阅读和写作于一体,培养的是学生语言综合运用的
能力。首先是阅读五则招聘广告,接下来让学生选择一则写求职信。但是由于
求职信的写作以前进行过大量的练习,所以本模块的写作话题是社会热点话题
“光盘行动”。
Cultural Corner 通过阅读Growing Jobs的文章,了解未来比较有发展前
景几项工作。

经过对教材内容的分析和重组,本模块可以分五个板块:
