教材分析
《Can you play the guitar 》是人教2012《新目标》英语七年级下第一单元的内容。Section A部分通过图文展现俱乐部招聘以及学生应聘的情境，并通过此情境呈现与谈论能力、介绍及选择俱乐部等相关句型和词汇。SectionB在Section A的话题、词汇、语言结构和语言技能的基础上都有所拓展。在话题方面阅读语篇由简单的俱乐部招聘广告扩展到某些大型活动的人才招募广告。在词汇方面扩展了有关乐器的词汇。本部分听力输入也更加丰富。

学情分析 Talk abilities and join a club这一话题较为贴近学生生活。在本单元的学习过程中，我们学习了关于语言，运动，音乐和美术以及其他方面的能力的词汇，同时学会使用情态动词can和一般现在时态来表达个人所具有的能力，这些都为后续招聘广告的撰写和设计工作奠定了基础。学生的目前写作主要是以仿写为主，学生对文章的结构解读能力还比较欠缺，所以应该引导学生通过阅读范文，梳理范文结构，归纳出招聘广告这一文体所类总结，同时对核心活动“talk about abilities”进行总结梳理。
